I reckon the Roblox customer has bought this and tried to run it at 1440p high settings… with no drivers haha, personally I don’t hate the PC, I think it looks good, could have had a better graphics card for the money… like you said, you’d expect the 4th gen i5 to be the limiting factor really, but yeah… not bad, I’d be happy with that if I were 10 years old and got it for a Christmas present (RGB hub working of course) lol

This card should run Roblox at 1440p high with no problems. Drivers could be the thing, but I guess that RGB somehow shortens the board (with all those unnecessary fans). I doubt kids are so much into RGB, it is more for their stupid parents who don't have even basic technical knowledge, so they buy things on looks.

There’s definitely something wrong with that RX 580 2048 it shouted be performing way better than this. Curious they didnt at least try to install drivers. Might also be that sketchy motherboard

I bought a similar system two weeks ago, bare bones with the case. No ps, ram, gpu, hd. The seller said the motherboard and 4th gen I5 should just be considered bonuses and that you are buying the case. I bought it mainly for the semi modern case. It was $22 plus shipping of 50. I don't know really what to do with the motherboard and cpu. I have an 8th gen system I am putting into the case.

I've found that a lot of the issues people were leaving negative reviews about were mostly due to operator error. PC's might be the most powerful gaming platform, but unlike a console, you can't just plug them and immediately start gaming. There are lots of settings to change, drivers to install, as well as letting Windows Update do its thing, and I can see someone trying to install and run Roblox while all of this is running in the background, and thinking the low FPS is a hardware issue. I've made some good money working on "broken" computers that just needed one or two drivers and the current Windows updates installed.

Brother that's not a tower cooler it's a downdraft cooler. Tower coolers have 1 or 2 heatsink towers 4:19 "Giant tower cooler"

My girlfriend got this same pc and i couldnt talk her out of it cause she loved the case and building one was out of grh question for her. So all i did when it arrived was upgrade the ram to 32 gbs i think. Its whatever the mobo could handle. And i took the 580 out and gave her my old 1660. So it runs alot better. Ahe can even play red dead 2

so i believe that the biggest problem is people are seeing rx 580 but do not know its a 2048 version and they expect the actual performance of a true rx 580 T8 card ,still don't know why they needed to remake a 570 and try and sell them as a normal 580

Definitely something wrong with that RX 580 2048. It should not be performing that badly. Either no drivers were ever installed, or something else. Or it could also be that sketchy ass motherboard which probably also has no drivers. Not a CPU bottleneck since the GPU was pinned at 100% the whole time. I would’ve liked to see an attempt to install drivers to see if that would fix the terrible performance.

Probably should change the CPU as an upgrade I’ve got a RX 580 and i7 3770 and it works smoothly, I had an i3 before and wanted to upgrade to i5 but a friend of mine who knows more about pc said to get i7 for a better experience. I5 is good but guess in long run you could run into problems my opinion anyways.

Based on the benchmarks. The GPU was the bottleneck not the CPU. Remember its not a real RX 580 its the 2048SP. But even then it seems like there’s something wrong with the GPU. It should be running games much better.

honestly a working PC that doesnt look all that bad , Capable of playing a majority of E-sports games at higher then 60FPS , decently built . it basically performs like the Xbox and PS5 !!! and all for 350$ .. the only drawback is you have too install drivers yourself which new PC gamers may not understand or know about or people coming from a console would not have a clue .. i give this PC 6.5 out of 10 .. not terrible considering price and performance.. but drawbacks are no real upgrade path exempt GPU and power supply .. and no drivers installed ..

i call BS on a 4th gen i5 being able to run on the stock cooler. mine would thermal throttle all the time when i first got it and it had the stock cooler with new themal paste running at 97c-99c. when i put a better cooler on it never got above 68c and have had that cooler on it for the 2 years i used it before i built a new computer. my old computer is used as a emulator now and has yet to have a problem like it had when i first got it

Stock coolers are not great but have you tried a better thermal paste it might be the paste. Sometimes a cheap paste doesn't cut it on a i5 idle still should be about 40 to 50 degree Celsius around that on a stock cooler and about 75 to 80 in games.

I always wonder why these companies dont use Xeons instead of these i5 to save money. Xeons are usually cheaper than i5s and i7. Those extra threads will keep in newer games.

They also run very hot and would require a more expensive CPU cooler, it comes down to whats more profitable.

@@visiblytarted remember they said the cooler that they used on this was over kill for the i5 so it would be fine for a Xeon which in this gen is usually only 15watts more power. I would to see the channel take these builds, pop in a Xeon and log the performance next to the i5

also the xeons typically dont handle gaming all that well, as they are used for server loads and not optimized for single core/limited multi-core performance

@@crackdog1914 there are xeons very similar to the same gen i5 and i7s, meaning 4 cores 8 threads at 3,8ghz for example, so for less price you can have pretty much the same performance if you take a close look at which xeons to use

Does that CPU have integrated graphics, if so, that could also explain the Roblox FPS as the customer could have ran the game from that.

If it's only 350 it's certainly worth the money... that's not much more than an optiplex 2nd gen and has 16 gigs rather than 8 and an RX 580 2048 rather than a gtx 1030! BUT the manufacturers obviously don't take the time to perfect their product, shown in their quality control and also not even bothering to download the correct drivers so I personally would not trust them.

that is if your playing via WIFI but with ethernet you would need a total of 5 cables unless wireless ones are bieng used then there is less cables

Definitely something wrong with the PC. I have an i5 4570 with 16GB and RX 6400 and it runs waaaaaay better than that. On paper the RX 580 is supposed to be faster. Taking a cheap office build and shoving it into a new cheap case does nothing for performance.
