A sump pump prevents basement flooding when the water table gets too high in the area, ideally preventing the water table from intersecting the basement. If it fails or is not running up to spec then it can cause damage to the basement and potentially surrounding homes since it would also affect the water table around the home if it wasn't operating properly.

For Joes sister: the Mazda CX-30 is awesome. I bought one (non turbo, sad) brand new two years ago. It has run awesomely, feels great to drive, like a beefy hatchback, and is surprisingly roomy. It made me officially part of the Mazda cult.

Good move on the dodge! Specially since towing weights are gross, and include the trailer weight. 6500 is good for jet skis and side by sides, not cars and trucks.

Legacy manufacturers are gonna get a repeat of the 70s-80s and end up like Harley Davidson, making an outdated product targeted toward an audience which is dying of old age. It's the same old story. Slapping tariffs on a product where the product's appeal is saving regular people huge amounts of money is such a loser mentality. You want a quality USDM car in current year you go to TOYOTA, protectionism didn't change that. Why would GM even attempt to compete when it can sell vehicles for an average of 50k, pull record profits, and still get tariffs enacted on its competition? Average people must have better options made worse, so that they spend more money and line goes up, which is better for GM. And what's good for GM is what's good for the country. I wonder why Gen Z is choosing not to drive?
