WORLD'S BIGGEST GYRO CHALLENGE! Today we are taking on the longest beef & lamb gyro I have seen in the USA! This kebab eating challenge was 5ft long and filled with over 6lbs of meat (kebab style cooked on a spit), tomato, onion, french fries & tazteki sauce all on their own pitas. This giant gyro eating challenge was unbeaten and cost around $100 if failed, but free if completed in the 60 minute time limit. Artopolis offers incredible gyros, artopitas, baked goods, and many other, award winning items in at their Greek Town Chicago location. The staff were great and the quality was worth it! They also have authentic greek items for sale in Chicago! Great job Joel. I live in Greece so i'll answer some of your questions in the video. Originally in Greece we put french fries inside the gyro and we have pork gyro and chicken gyro here, not beef. And we eat it wrapped, with the tzatziki and everything else inside it, not opened like you had it there. I'm glad you liked it though, i think it's one of our most famous street food. So if you want to taste the original pita gyro you must come to Greece one day.

@@MiaLuvsFNAF if you don't have a great Greek place near you, make your own!. It really simple and OMG, so tasty! Just start w making your own tzaski dip lol. I grate my cukes, so places cube it. I don't care for that. But if you grate it, place it in a strainer lined w a coffee filter over night ( w grated garlic, so it mellows) then also strainer the Greek yogurt overnight, then add dillweed, salt, pepper ( fresh ground, not the preground crap) a touch of good olive oil, YUM!! Get some good pita pockets, toast em a bit and you are in dip heaven . Look up symenons( I thinks that the spelling) restaurant, the are an awesome place near me! Also, Zeinas. And also, I forget his name, ohh, Mike Simon!! He is a great Greek born chef!

In Germany when I order an "original" Gyros Pita, it has ketchup, mustard, fries, onions, tomato and meat on it. Otherwise our Gyros Pita have tomato, onions, fries, coleslaw(dressing of oil, vinegar and pepper) and meat. Also it's mostly pork meat here.

Joel, I watch many food challenge videos on KZfaq. And I must say that whoever shoots and edits your videos does an superb job. The angles are perfect! I never have trouble seeing exactly what you are eating. The audio is crystal clear 👍I can think of one or two competitors that also do a good job. But I feel you are the very best. Hi over this side of the pond we just call them kebabs, lamb, chicken, kofta, and then shish and we use a pitta bread slice it then stuff it with the meat and salad and chilli sauce. Love the videos keep them coming 😎👍
