Week 5 qualifier ke syllabus mein included nai hota. So usko abhi padh ke fayda nahi hai according to me. But aap apni convenience ke according dekh skte ho.

If we choose 4 subjects for term 1 but could not pass the passing criteria of 40% in one subject Then do we have to reappear for 1 subject or do we have to reappear for all the 4 subjects And also when will be that exam conducted

After your admission, if that's the case. You only need to appear for the subject you failed in. But for qualifiers, i don't think so that's the case.

If i take 2-3 subjects for a term then i have to devote atleast 5-6 hours per day. And for 3-4 subjects atleast 7-8 hours per day. But i would suggest to take only 2 subjects per term if you are doing it as a dual degree.

What is meant by qualifer phase open ? Date given is sept 20 Qualifer closes and exam date is October 27 Is it compulsory to attend the phase open?

Qualifier phase open means your content for qualifier exam will be provided week wise to you. And qualifier phase close means it is now time for the qualifier exam. So on sept 20 you'll get the contents of week 1 for your exam and the qualifier exam will be held on oct 27.

Congratulations apne qualifier clear kr liye. Apka registration 2/3 din mein shuru ho jayega. But agar apko iss term admission nai lena to aap next term bhi admission le sakte ho. Isi pe meri video aa rhi h jisme maine isko ache se explain kia hai. Aap vo dekh lijiyega.

So qualifer phase week before qualifer exam are only the part for the exam purpose Once the person qualify the qualifer exam he/she will begin with the degree course after that? So like I get my results on 1 November so I will be a part of the degree program from after that I have my boards 12th in 2025 so will my classes begin after 1 November or after I submit 12th pass certificate

You are in class 11th right now. Right? So you can clear your qualifier exam now. And take the admission after you clear your class 12th.

Yes for 4 courses you need to score above 70%. If you score between 50-70 you can register for only 3 courses. And for less than 50% you can only register for 2 courses. But these are valid for the upcoming term only. You can increase your overall cgpa after each term and register for the subjects accordingly.

If you are jee based student, you need not to write the qualifier exam. You need to write quiz 1 and quiz 2. Quiz 1 is same as qualifier exam. If you don't give quiz 1 on july 7, you'll loose some percentage of marks for final grading that's it.

I was not eligible for 7th july because of low score in maths, but in 3rd week i improved a lot, i even calculated the average of best two and it is easily above above 40%, still it is showing "NO" in the eligibility section. Please someone explain how do they select the best two and how do they calculate the average. 😒😔😰😰 Is the result of eligibility updated for 4th august students ?

For August 4 it will be updated before that quiz. This eligibility is for july 7 qualifier only. But if you think you are eligible for july 7 qualifier and iitm has made some mistake in calculating the average, you can mail them at support@study.iitm.ac.in

Nope. Syllabus for qualifier is week 1-4.

Hello Di , I am registering for this course through JEE based entry (for September term ) , I had filled the registration form and paid the fees before 2 weeks . Toh kya mujhe iss week mein admission letter aur ID card milega kya ? And if yes then kya mein abhi se hi courses start kar sakta hu or will I have to wait till September to start the courses ?

If you have registered for sept term, then you'll get your id card, admission letter and lectures in sept only when the new term starts. But you can watch the lectures in advance from iitm's official KZfaq channel. And for foundation and diploma students there is no way possible to do the courses offline.

Ok thanks didi , Just one more question, I have heard that offline courses from BSc Degree level are available only if a student has A CGPA of >=8 in foundation and diploma . So is true ? Just wanted to confirm

@@Hihello-p5v Yes. It is true. You have to maintain a good cgpa of above 8 for doing the courses offline.

Everything is mentioned on the Website, you can check there. For you question, considering you are of General Category with an annual family income more than 5 lakhs the 4 year fee will be from 3.15 lakh to 3.51 lakhs..
