In online BS degree in electronics from IITM how many days is the lab? On the website, it is given that 1 to 2 weeks but from the last video she went to the lab for 6 days only how many days will I be going to the lab in reality if I join this course?

Depends on the subject you are taking the lab for. Some require only 3-4 days. Some require more time.

I don't think so you can apply in the jee based entry. But fir bhi aap confirm krlo ek baar support team se. support@study.iitm.ac.in Otherwise regular entry mein to aap apply kr hi skte ho.

Admission apka without exam hoga. But apko regular exams to dene honge na. Jinka kuch percent fir final score mein count hoga. Usi ke liye exam city maang rhe hain

Yes. Bsc/Bs level mein aapko campus ja ke kuch subjects padhne ka mauka mil skta hai. But uske ke bhot terms and conditions hote hain.

@@ritikrajput5104 T&C like.. only selected IITs have that exchange program. IIT madras & IIT gandhinagar as of now. Plus you have to pay to both the institutions for that semester and a lot more.

I am using Lenovo Ideapad 3, and it is a good laptop. As per IITM any system that has the following specifications is good. RAM Size - 8 GB or higher (The ability to install more memory is desirable). Processor - Intel 8th Generation or AMD 4th Generation or upwards or its equivalent (The latest processor configuration is always recommended) Storage - Minimum of 500 GB, Desirable of 1 TB. Having an SSD storage is desirable. Screen size and resolution - Minimum of 13” for laptop and Minimum of 15” for desktop with 1080p Webcamera, a mic and speaker or an earphone/headphone with mic. Operating System - Minimum requirement of Windows 10 or Ubuntu LTS Version 20.04 (or any equivalent) or Mac OS Mojave. Having the capability of dual boot is desirable. If there is no capability for dual boot, then the operating system must support virtualization software like VirtualBox using which Ubuntu 20.04 can be emulated. The System Commands course in Semester 4 will be taught primarily on Ubuntu 20.04. Browser - Latest version of Chrome with Google Account signed in Basic familiarity with Google Suite of tools (Docs, Sheets and Slides), specifically collaboration features. Minimum of 2 MBPS connection is required to attend sessions without disruptions.

@@anjalipanchal088 I also want to do this alone but then wondering to take a college aside because I am not confident whether I could complete the full degree or not.. my interest in programming was developed from 9th as we were taught Java in computer science syllabus till 12th. Now, I want to do btech CSE but not getting any good college so, thinking to do this degree alone and I am very confident that I will complete the diploma level but can't say whether I would complete the full degree or not as many peoples are saying that it will be tough after diploma level. And Can I work as a software engineer because in btech they focus mostly on (software engineering and development). And In this BS degree I have seen that in BSc level, there will be a separate course with the name of (Software engineering and testing). Will it be same or mostly different with btech?

@@ashutoshhk If you are confused, then go for 2 degrees. And you'll definitely find interest in one with time. And then you can choose to drop one if you want, or can continue with both. I am doing it standalone as i've already completed my education before. And yes you can be a software engineer as well.
