I'll be hard pressed to find any other film of this year top Everything Everywhere All at Once. This film is a masterpiece in every sense of the word. ❤

"Hi Becky!" 🤣🤣🤣 I loved EEAaO! If my theater had it for more than a week, I would have gone to see it again even with these gas prices. I showed up for Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan. Wasn't expecting James Hong (in a mech suit!) or Jamie Lee Curtis (with 🌭 👐)! The by the time Joy shows up in the Elvis costume, it had already become my favorite movie of the year, and it kept getting better! It's absurd, it's heartfelt, and it's beautiful. I've never almost cried over rocks before...

"Next time my hair looks like ass, I'm going to take that as a sign that the universes are collapsing" so perfectly sums up what anxiety feels like 🤣

Such an accurate portrayal of a typical Asian family. Makes me nostalgic.

Another thing that absolutely broke me about this movie is that the universe the movie ends in is a different one than what it started with
@eeloftheworld69222 жыл бұрын
Actually yes and no! The universe they end in is the same universe as the beginning except if Evelyn never punched Deidre at the elevators. You see it first when Evelyn fails her jump and finds herself in the truck discussing the divorce with Waymond, and the film mentions it very briefly.

@@eeloftheworld6922 Yeah but still it's an awesome detail that they made.
@hhcdfhngdzjjbf5792 жыл бұрын
@@eeloftheworld6922 that legitimately means it was a different universe though. there was a split when she decided to punch the irs lady, and split into 2 universes, 1 that we followed, and 1 that they just went home after the irs, and thats the universe we finished in. although it was only a small divergence, still means it split into 2 universes.

Funfact: the “Trophy fighters” are also the martial art choreographers for the movie and also brothers. They started on KZfaq too (Martialclub)

First of all, love your bangs you look stunning. I've seen this film three times in the theater with three different dates, that's how much I loved it. First highlight is casting Waymond with the Asian kid actor from the 80's in "Goonies" and "Indiana Jones". Seeing Michelle's range outside of just action was great! Jamie Lee Curtis as a villain is genius and terrifying. People were telling me this is not just their favorite film of 2022, but their FAVORITE FILM OF ALL TIME. After seeing, it's also one of my all time top Ten if not top Five films of all time.

Hey man , you just fell victim to it being over hyped. *anything* can be talked up to the scenario you are in. As a kid my family was told "the princess bride" was so good that mom took young me to an unprecedented full price showing. I distinctly remember my family walking out all agreeing that it "wasnt that good." And I agreed with all my heart and mind. Well a decade later as a film buff I ranked the hubdreds of best movies I ever seen, and I put "princess bride" at number 1. Since then I have seen this happen (or even as a test "caused" this to happen!) to everyone sometimes, as I see it here. Give it another shot in a couple years to distance yourself. It may take years but I'm sure youll finally share some enjoyment.
