It's not the easiest anime to cover since it doesnt have a sheer amount of substance like an Apothecary Diaries, but I'm just so happy you just enjoyed the subtle storytelling in the comfy wholesome slice of life as much as I did. Love Tonikawa! Such a unique and wholesome anime that is packed full of good feels. I remember the entire time just having a nagging feeling in the back of my mind just waiting for some cruel twist to happen, because it really does such a wonderful job of subverting all the standard tropes to deliver nothing but goodness. A visual reference that really makes me smile is that at the start of episode 2, when Nasa is thinking about the bed size they’ll need, the visual stand in characters used for scale are clear references to the protagonist of the game Danganronpa 2 and his main love interest

One thing you haven't made mention of is the great use of "silly music" at appropriate points. it's such a great grace note and really adds to the gentle humor.

Seriously one of the best romcom series. And unlike so many of them that slow burn the romance and the comedic elements come from the misunderstandings as they progress through their journey where the final destination is their relationship, this one dispels with all of that and puts them in marriage from the beginning and we get to witness them grow together as a family. And I love how you said you can't wait to learn more about her backstory - it's one of the most compelling aspects of this story as a whole... and let's just call it a "rabbit hole".

This is one of my favorite anime of all time! Makes me wanna cozy up under a big blanket and watch it again. Thanks for covering it big man!

I love that show to pieces, only Ore Monogatari had these levels of wholesome power (and maybe Kimi Ni Todoke?). Jokes are amazing, characters are interesting and super likeable, and main duo is freaking perfect. Watching them makes you feel like you are in love!

This is one of the few anime where I watched the OP for the singing every time.

Another thing of note is most Rom Com I do not like either half of the genre name in it. The Rom is one and done troptastic BS. The Com is even flatter than a table as it either is not a joke to my POV or is a joke yes but not funny to me with its execution. I may not like every joke in this but I still find it funny; and the Rom half is actually Romantic to me as I feel a bit like both halves on things (Tho I have never dated or had a partner to any capacity). These 2 are what I want when I do find my one and only.
