This is Changi Airport in Singapore. It's number 4 of the most expensive airports in the world with construction cost of 1.1 billion dollars US. Changi Airport's main attraction is the Jewel, with the iconic Rain Vortex - the world's tallest indoor waterfall. And I'm here for it all, especially, of course, for the food. So in this video, I'm going on a food tour of this billion dollar airport, and sample some of the foods that can be found here from snacks to restaurants and everything in between and show you why Singapore’s Changi is the best airport in the world!

Construction and renovation seems on-going like from the beginning LOL. Changi airport is constructing T5 - biggest terminal. Jewel is just like a typical mall in Singapore. It connects to the main airport terminals with some extras fun stuff for tourists and locals. Unlike most airports, for years locals like visiting the Changi airport on a normal day and not just for travelling purposes. There are more food and things to explore in each of the terminals.

It always amazes me that North Americans believe they have the best airports and airlines in the world. They obviously have not had the opportunity to travel abroad much. Once you experience airports such as this and the new airport in Istanbul, Turkey you soon realize we are so behind the 8 ball. This particular airport was designed by an Israeli Canadian, Moche Safdie who studied at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

Jewel is actually a mall connected to the airport. The other terminals has various interesting stuff as well. Like swimming pool, butterfly garden, cinema more food and shopping options etc.

It is FAR from to look like a ' damm mall ' IT IS LOOKS LIKE A WORLDS CLASS PARK WITH THE WORLDS NR 1 LUXURY....
