Plot twist: shanks is a celestial dragon that roger saved from god valley after the God valley incident when he was a baby, I don’t want to use a reference from the Oden flashback because I don’t want to spoil anime only, but some of you guys will know what I mean by what I’m saying.

Plot twist: God valley is actually Sniper island and Sogeking is the last survivor of it ,that's why Kuma Didnt send usopp to the Sniper Island to train with sogeking cause The Island Disappeared a long time ago

Have we considered that Xebec was the former user of the dark-dark fruit and may have sucked the island into the darkness? It could be part of why blackbeard so desperately wanted that fruit if it allowed you to access things previously sucked up by the fruit

This is a far reach, but in Egypt the god valley is the burial site of all nobles and Pharaoh's (those not in the pyramids) and had always been a great place of wealth that made them the target of pirates/looters. Maybe the celestial dragons used to be buried there?
