To answer your question regarding how the previous events could of happened without Sunset, they couldn't of. It's just that the stone only removed memories of the past, but changed nothing of the past. Like in the way that you forget that you put your coffee in the microwave, yet it still was placed in the microwave.

For Sin 17 about the old Yearbook being there, I was actually in Yearbook for senior year and the classroom keeps old yearbooks around for reference and because sometimes people don't pick up their orders or we accidentally ordered extras. So it's perfectly reasonable for there to be an old yearbook in that room with the yearbook comittee. Great video! Just wanted to correct that little thing.

3:08 - That was on purpose. Wallflower says at the end that she went overboard with erasing people's memories, which is the reason sunset literally cannot remember her at all in that moment. They have met, and sunset would remember, but her memories were erased due to Wallflower's social anxiety wanting to erase all her awkwardness.

12:45 Actually it has been 3 days though it's easy to miss, and never really say it's a new day. Let me explain Rarity Says let's take Our Best Friend photo on the beach on Saturday... So means it is Friday at that point, the memory wipe happen that night, more likely then after midnight... to make the 3 day thing work. (Saturday to Monday) So it's Saturday, the 1st beach scene happens, and Sunset goes back to Equestria. Now when Sunset shows back up at the beach it's Sunday. Just A Guess mind you, but I sure she was in equestria most of saturday, so safe to assume it's been 24 hours. They are Back at school on Monday, when Sunset knocks dude over... clearly the weekend is over here. That's take on it anyway... I mean it fits

to be honest this Equestria Girls Special Forgotten Friendship was good but I think it needed more work because I was hoping For Wallflower Blush to transform into a demon like Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle, Gloriosa Daisy and Juniper Montage did, but it was a good special though, but I wonder what's the next Equestria Girls Special going to be about?

Actually, it’s completely normal to have 4 year old yearbooks lying around in a yearbook room. In our yearbook room, there are quite a lot of yearbooks lying around or stored in cabinets. Hell, I’ve even found a 16 year old one on someone’s desk. They use them to look back on and try to improve their current yearbook

My headcanon as to how Sunset has her apartment is that while in Equestria she carried a small pouch of bits with her and she still had it when she fled through the portal. Once on the human side she sold them and used most/all of the money to buy the apartment instead of rent it.

In the second movie we see how much Trixie hated Sunset but still she could tell to Sunset that she will always be a meanie, but she didn't And in this movie they actually work together because the two mostly want to help each other in most ways after that Trixie discovered about the memory stone , and the way they where looking at each other . You actually missed a mistake when they got their memory back. Two of these magical things going into their heads are not red for sunset but their own color. I think it were pinkie and flutter shy but I am not entirely sure.

Ever since rainbow rocks hasbro has shown their bond in the movies, specials, shorts and music videos so I'm glad to see the sundash bond wasn't ignored in this special but just cut out of the tv airing for time. I think, about the 3 day rule, this is possibly how the writers thought it worked: Day 1 was the night they were removed Day 2 was the day they spent at the beach Day 3 was the day they spent searching Not that that makes much sense, considering the stone had to be destroyed by sunset and not midnight. It would have made a lot more sense to be destroyed at midnight, since the memories being removed a couple hours before midnight would waste one 'day'. This is how I thought it worked originally as well, until I thought about the rule about being destroyed by sunset.
