You're half right, the van filmed before the crash was Miller's personal Mazda Bongo but the one that gets hit was an old junker they'd repainted, if you watch the crash closely enough, or in slow motion, you can see the inside panels aren't blue. Also it's just a van, a small van but still just a van. "Minivan" is the American name for a family/passenger van, in Australia we call those "People Movers".

That bubble top side car would cook you inside of 20 minutes because I can almost guarantee it doesn't have air conditioning. Also I don't think Max had any idea how long it would take to cut through the cuffs or his leg. He just liked the idea of Johnny trying to saw through his own ankle before burning to death. Johnny would have probably had at least enough time in the fire before he died to realize Max lied to him and the sense of betrayal would have been the cherry on top of Max's first revenge sundae. I have to applaud your restraint at not making fun of Mel Gibson every five seconds for his unhinged rant from quite a while ago now. That horse died a long time ago and has been beaten to a bloody stain on the asphalt shortly after.

The Night Rider was Doctor Death in an Australian biker movie called Stone. I tend to think of Stone as the prequal to Mad Max. Doctor Death is Night Rider's father. Toad is Toe Cutter's father. And so on .... Same bikes, same actors.

I think this is officially the last time I watch Cinema Sins. It used to be funny and insightful, and when it wasn’t funny it was still insightful, but now it just feels like soulless content to me without anything much to say. I’m not damning Cinema Sins to hell or anything, just what you guys are offering is no longer for me. So you guys keep doing what you’re doing, and I’ll go off and do something else. Thanks for the good times!
