5:38 Can confirm that this is not a thing. The Tower Bridge can be raised and lowered to allow big ships to pass through. This happens 2-3 times a day at minimum. Hanging a banner so that a ship can sail into it is crazy, and so it doesn't happen.

6:01 It's not a failed heist, mainly because it's not a heist of any kind. That's not a bank, it's the Central Criminal Court (aka The Old Bailey), and those kids are there on a field trip of some kind. It's also not a heist because they're not there to rob anything, but simply to get as many police as possible to gather nearby so they can take them out when they blow the place up.

@@x0gucx it's a DIRECTOR'S CUT . ALL director's cuts have scenes that are too long or are unnecessary. Why don't people get this? This version would not have gone to the theatres. Even the black panther director said that his directors cut was about 4 hours

@@x0gucx Well, this version is four hours long, you know that going in, it's the quintessential example of a bloated self-indulgent director's cut. It is an anomaly; something that probably should never have existed, and might never have existed if not for the rise of a deadly global pandemic. You know going in that there will be odd or awkward edits, reshoots, effects, shoehorned-in characters, entire scenes feeling inherently non-cinematic in their style or pacing. Because it's not trying to be a film in the way that any other film has had to be; it's four hours of an alternate vision, a "What If...?" if you will, broken up into neatly labeled chapters in case you want to watch it like a miniseries. Nothing takes "too long", it takes exactly as long as the director wants it to, knowing that if you don't like it, there is and always has been another shorter faster version readily available to watch instead.

If Darkseid is invading somewhere then it wouldn't surprising if a few Green lanterns show up to help the fight against him, and that's assuming that the Council back on Oa have decided to abide by whatever peace treaty is sometimes in effect when writers need the corps to not fight against some galaxy conquering evil (because you need an excuse for the guys who specifically make it their life's work to root out and destroy evil doers to not fight against the guy who is literally evil), cause if they weren't bound by something, I don't see them deciding not to send everybody after Darkseid.

It's blurs the line of the actual good movies and bland, safe ones which I really don't like. The mcu community doesn't help much either, always biting back on logical critic

He basically ruined himself for the Mummy movies too. He did a bunch of stunts and basically just broke himself and, as I understand it, now has permanent damage and is in chronic pain. It is a factor as to why we don't see him act in much anymore.

@@maxsavage4803 vicious cycle man. I had an ex who used to be a figure skater, this manifested in her early 30’s as a hernia which bust her back. She had surgeries to help fix it but with it now being much more painful to move and harder to stretch or bend naturally she put weight on which has knockon psychological affects and many people comfort eat to deal which further exacerabates things. I feel bad for the guy but cannot judge him for getting heavier.

Well regarding the whole green lantern thing, usually unless it’s a galaxy ending threat, only one lantern responds. (At least the old corps responded that way) Also darkseid was know for murdering green lanterns, like to the point the lanterns intentionally avoided darkseid’s section of space

I can teach you :p I can give you a simple tip instead. Tense up your abdominal muscles when you breathe out. Don't forget to relax when you breathe in or your stomach will not move to give your lungs room for more air. With different tension and volume you can sound somewhere between someone who knows what they're talking about and a monster telling people they're about to get their heads ripped off and with a bit of practice you can even throw in a grunt or some compression/distortion on the accents. Just be careful that if you hurt your vocal chords that you really stop with the grunting and compression until your vocal chords heal. If you tense up your stomach enough you should be able to avoid any injuries though and that's easier when you say mean or badass things, for me at least. I can't say things like I like the pretty butterflies on the beautiful flowers when doing that because I will just forget to tense up and rip my vocal chords. So I will often tell my cat I will rip his head off or some shit like that XD And he's totally fine with that because I taught him I'm raising my voice for fun and he'll get a cuddle every time I say things like that. Also, don't teach dogs that or they will learn to ignore commands :p

One of the problems I had with the original is how badly Aquaman got chumped vs. Steppenwolf. He's basically Superman when he's underwater. Plus I always thought it was dumb to have a movie that's about everyone coming together and then they're not good enough, so they get Superman back, and he basically handles everything by himself in the end.

@@_Doskii Darkseid is supposed to be a legitimate challenge for the whole League, Superman included. There are threats on his level or greater. And it makes sense if you're going to do an evil Superman to make him that strong. But that just continues to be speedrunning the whole mess of a story. They never establish Supes as the paragon of justice before he dies, they never show him being important. Wonder Woman does more inspiring in the DC films. They just botch everything and parade around melodrama that's not earned. Snyder in a nutshell.

I don’t know how this movie is so terrible (according to Jeremy). In a 4 hour movie 99% of the sins so far have literally been about shit like sweatshirts on background characters and electrical boxes. Like he’s hardly winning the actual movie but he’s adamant it’s terrible.

Green lanterns are very powerful, but not all of them are on the same level as the ones we normally see. The reason there are 5 human lanterns (I think that number is right but I haven't checked in a while) is because humanity is special in that as a species we tend to have strong willpower as well as the ability to conquer our fears. Not really fully excusing this lantern for being kinda lame, but they aren't all as powerful as John Stewart and Hal Jordan.

Yeah but one green lantern is responsible for an entire sector of the galaxy, and are expected to deal with apocalyptic events by themselves. So its supposed to be a testament to how powerful Darkseid is, not how lame this green lantern was. The movie just did a poor job of it, and ended up sending the complete opposite message haha

I hear you, but two things about riding horses on long journeys - the horse needs a break once in a while from carrying your weight and you're going to need to walk once in a while to stretch your legs and back. They for sure wouldn't have been having that conversation. Maybe they would have taken another road, gone to another destination. Maybe his father would have been driving. Or maybe his father drives a much bigger and sturdier vehicle. Maybe they were on their way to get him from work, which they wouldn't have had to do if he was there. Its a silly sin

Zack was going to do Man of Tomorrow (Man of Steel sequel), leading Clark to a more hopeful persona and introduce Brainiac to the DCEU, and after, a movie about how Batman become that monster in BvS, why he start to kill and lost his faith in mankind (all because of Robin death), but, Warner wanted to rush to Justice League and make their billion dollar Avengers-esque movie, so they forced Zack and Terrio to fit Batman in Man of Tomorrow, so they did, the idea was put Bruce in a short scene in the end which as gonna lead to his movie, but then, Warner execs pitched the ideia of a versus movie with Batman and Superman and again forced Terrio to re-write the movie and add Wonder Woman to rush even more to Justice League, so Zack did the movie and Warner again fucked everything and cut half of a hour of scenes that were essential to the plot just to fit their 2h:30m theater schedual, and then prohibited Zack to do a lot of things in his Justice League like Long-Hair and beard Superman, the black suit (which Zack put in post-production with special effects), Green Lantern introduction, Knightmare scenes (which again Zack did in 2020 in reshoots), and again fucked everything hiring Wheddon to cut the movie and to give the movie a Avengers tone.

Okay for a lot of the comments going on about how darkseid could easily wipe out Oa I'd like u to note a few things 1. The darkseidthat killed the greenlatern was no stronger than steppenwolf he had no omega beam no kryptonian rivaling superstrength no armour and couldn't fly 2. Greenlaterns are expected to be powerful enough to patrol sectors of space alone that ring they wear literally projects their will now as we've seen it means as long as they can will it they can make it 3. I fail to believe a young inexperienced darkseid that got beat by the five armies from the hobbit would take on a green later head on without a scratch and u can tell that by the way he looks at the ring it's his first time killing a lantern 4. I also failed believe any later would be stupid enough to put himself in such a dumb position as to get his arm cut off well except for maybe hal, green Gardner and probably kilowog And edit oh yeah that's an experienced lantern u fucknuts EXPERIENCEDDDDD have u seen wat an experienced lantern can do? Mind you hal pretty powerful but that's in willpower he's not the prime example of an experienced lantern

Something that’s always bugged me about the snowy village bar scene is that aquaman walks in through one door, walks five feet and out another door. Why so many doors? Does this bug anyone else???

This movie gave me flashbacks to the very first movie I saw in theaters that had an intermission: Fellowship of the Ring. And my 13 year old self thought THAT was the loooongest movie that could movie. I had to take a nap from this movie just to finish it.
