The chomp chomp roller is a really good reusable pet hair remover. It’s the only thing that successfully pulled dog hair out of my car seats and carpet. My dog loved to go on car rides with the windows down, and even with the seats covered, her hair would fly everywhere and imbed itself into everything. Try that one. Totally with it!

We have a sticker that we put on our front screen door. It’s says “In case of fire or other emergency, please save our pets!!” There is a spot to list animal name & type (ie Black dog named Hunter, Tabby cat named Fred, etc).

This video came at the perfect time! We have a 10 week old puppy and are currently puppy training him. He’s doing amazing with toilet training and also seems to be comfortable with being left alone for a short while in his playpen already which is great. One thing that we are struggling with is the nipping/biting/mouthing he seems to want to nip at our hands/feet/clothes all the time because he wants to play 🤣 we have some toys including a snuffle mat but we are on the search for lots of different kinds of toys to keep him entertained and not bored so he doesn’t resort to nipping at us instead. My mum just ordered him a ball pit 🤣 but the hard plastic ball from pets at home that you can put treats inside sounds perfect for him to burn off some energy until he has his 2nd vaccination so he can go out for walks. Thanks soph!!! ❤️

I'm very happy you mentioned UK when you spoke about the information tag. Because I'm Dutch and how far I'm aware it is not a rule for us (might be different per place where you live in the Netherlands but I'm pretty sure that we had a letter saying that the information tag is not a must anymore for my hometown). Ofcourse it is always smart to have one, it makes it way easier to get your dog back home when it gets lost, we still have ours on my dog's collar, but he is so old now that he rarely goes on walks so the chance of losing his also got smaller

We love our Kong for our Lexi as a ball too!xx It doesn't bounce in predictable ways so it makes it more fun XXX We also have a smaller version of the big red treat ball in yellow for my rabbits!xx love your videos xx

You can try rolling the kibble or treats in the specific pieces of fabric, so it takes longer time. Our GSD use to take around 60 sec when we just drizzled the kibble over the mat, but now it takes him around 10-20 minutes to eat all his kibble, because all of the kibble is rolled down 🤷🏻‍♀️

I can really relate to the retractable leash senario you made😅 I have one and every time it drops my dog gets scared and starts to run off. I’ll definitely have to try the leash you showed

We have an elderly dog who has developed stomach issues. I now spend more time making his food than I do for ours!😂 We also use anti anxiety chews for him because he has become more anxious (maybe has doggy dementia?) Just to make him comfortable and happy!

Best barking behaviour do natural treats for dogs! Would fully recommend those. We also have a test tube treat dispenser which I find works better than the ruffle matts

I strongly recommend HURTTA dog clothes 😊 they are great. Adjustable, very good quality and can handle really freezing (-30C) temperatures (depends on the type of the clothing). We have Hurtta Expedition Parka for our Frenchie and she loves it. And it keeps all of her joints covered. 🙏

Also side note, if you’re struggling with pulling I found front attaching harnesses helped a lot! My dog is a bit of a flight risk so didn’t want to risk a collar in case she slipped out.

We just got a puppy who eats like a hoover and gives himself hiccups everytime so we got one of those bowls and they really do help. He still tries to eat it in 10 seconds flat but now he can't 🤣😍

If u get a rope toy, soak it in water then freeze it, that helps in the heat

I would suggest trying some other lint rollers that are a bit more sticky. I find the Ikea lint rollers less effective than other ones, and as some other (probably local) brands here (in India) are more sticky, you end up using far fewer sheets to clean things.

I would say that you don't need to bath your dog when it is not dirty... (I've had dogs my whole life and we only bath them when they are very dirty which seems to be almost never) but if you want to bath them and don't have a dog shampoo, baby shampoo works as well (it is not sented and very soft in products because baby's can't handle a lot as well. plus point, you can also wash your make up brushes with it because it is so sensitive). I also never cut the nails from the dogs I've had. The one I have right now needs haircuts and they cut the nails there but we've had huskies and shepard before and as long as you let them run al lot it probably isn't needed, the stones or asfalt that the dog runs on (please watch out with hot weather, dogs can get blisters from hot stones, if you can't walk on it because it's hot the dog can't either) kind of works like a natural nail file.

IMPORTANT INFO! Hi Everyone! Fab video and definitely agree with using the flat-lead over a retractable lead, however it's worth mentioning that wrapping the lead around your wrist or fingers can be dangerous. I am a trainer and walker and have broken my finger in the past from doing this and after speaking to the doctor found out it is a very common injury. I personally still wrap leads round my wrist as I'd rather put my dogs safety first over my own but is always worth being aware of!!
