Why would you share this, she has no clue when it comes to proper fish care. She has no real experience when it comes to Betta fish. Most of, if not all, of her Betta's have died within a month due to neglect and mistreatment.

Watching these videos so i can do my next beta better, me and my family made some major mistakes with my last beta Bruce due to not being informed yet how to care for them when we got him. We havent gotten any betas yet but we have a better tank ready and some softer decorations for when im ready for a new one.

The name Betta (or betta) is pronounced /ˈbɛtə/ the first part is the same as the English word bet. The name is often pronounced /ˈbeɪtə/ in American English, and may be spelled with one 't'. The name of the genus is derived from the Malay word ikan betah ("persistent fish").

I didn’t buy a beta fish I bought Kuhli loaches but when I was getting a filter it said that you should change it every month on the box and the employee told us that it’s a lie 😂

It’s also that you should cover a tank with a lid with an air hole because if you don’t your fish might jump out. Mine was downstairs and while me and my family were sleeping it has jumped out into the sink and it dried up.

I would like to share that i found bettas beautiful fish and i always loved and dreamed of having one. I never got the chance +now i have a toddler. Maybe in the future and with ALOT of information and educating myself i would think about it twice. But its something that i would love to make happen by the way thanks for the vide i found it very helpful!❤

Hello! I got a betta fish (didnt buy him, i got him from my aunt because she was living in a vase and i waanted to get one for a while, i did lots of research i couldnt get) He still is in the vase. I will get his tankin 2 days. Should i cycle the aquarium first or do a fish in cycle?

So i have a 60 gallon tank and the filter is to big for a lid. I have a smalled lid ontop but it only covers about half, anything you recommend? Also it gets green so fast and my snails are breeding faster than i can handle so it turns green. I know its not always bad but ive cleaned it over and over and the got rid of all the water so theres was about 30% of water in it. But when i filled it up, it was still green, anything you can recommend? Ive also changed the filter lots of times

hi i have a 3 gallon tank i want to do a bare bottom look with some plants and floaters also with a sponge filter and heater do you think this can work ? or am i better off with sand ? if i do put sand is less than an inch of sand acceptable?

I have a question what's a better food option to feed betta fish i tried tertra min tropical flakes but it makes the water all cloady ans slimy and my betta seems to have a hard time catching it before it drops 1 pros choice petta pellets 2 tetra energy pro crisps 3tertra color pro crisps Whitch of these is goood for bettas? Since we only have these 3brands in our petshops

My betta fish has "beta beads" instead of rocks or sand. He frequently sort of nose dives into them and wriggles for a bit into them, then swims up for an air bubble. He repeats that over and over. What could this be? Is he just playing or should I be worried?

We have pure cold spring water that comes into our house. My husband did the well extra deep years ago when he did the well because he wanted to tap into the spring. We live in diving capital of the US.. anyway is that good enough because there's no rust It's even sweet like Avion water It's really really good water Do I need a conditioner? I definitely will let it sit overnight to get room temperature❤ Thank you So Much!! I just killed my first beta and the snail😢 I don't know if that's from the temu glow in the dark plastic seashell shapes or I did put glass beads in and some of them had paint which was scratched!? Oh and I had regular rocks and their lava rock and small river rocks. I cleaned everything with peroxide this time.. Didn't know it couldn't be washed in dishwasher Everything!? Ugh.. I didn't wanna do that again I was So Upset❤ Thanks again Take Care

The paint on the glass beads was scratched because I put those in the dishwasher silverware area. But now I only have the plant that's growing that they gave me from the Pet store a few real rocks a few small glass beads that are clear and not prepped and the plastic plants two of them and seashell glow in the dark plastic stuff for the fish tank from temu. Thanks again

There’s the Aqueon filter for 3 gallon, the x-small one. It works well for my 5 gallon

Get a 10 gallon if you want your betta to thrive. You need atleast 5 gallon tank for your betta to be happy.

Depending what you feed your betta if it’s flakes do around a pinch i do I bit more but seperate into breakfast and dinner but with blood worms only feed them at least every third day and only do about 3 worms but add more than 8 brine shrimp
