Diluting products can be a money saver and very convenient. I always dilute all of my cleaning chemicals so I don't waste product.

Since these are cleaning products, you can just flush with water until it runs clear!

Your Silk Shine product is great for tires but for me, it's too glossy for interior panels. Since it's water-based and can be diluted, what ratio would you recommend? Thank you!

I have been using straight because I can't get pump handle off the Lightning Fast stain extractor. I only have like an oz left because get the lid off. Is there a secret. I have even used lid opener and the top won't budge.

Hi Barbara! The 16oz spray bottles are equipped with a ratchet-locking mechanism, squeeze the sides of the neck together to disengage the locks and unscrew as normal. A pair of pliers may help.

@@ChemicalGuys I had to use channel lock. I thought I was just weak. There was dried chemical around the screw cap that also was causing it to stick. Love this stuff.

So when I apply CHEMICAL GUYS HYDROSLICK to my car's paint when should I reapply it or do I need to strip it off before adding a new coat and how should I maintain it ?????

The product lasts up to 12 months but there are lots of factors to keep in mind: how you maintain the car, the quality of water, how hard the water is where you live , the acidity of your water. Also the activities you put the car through like offroad adventurers etc. You have a full 16 oz bottle of HydroSlick and it takes seconds to apply the product and a little goes a very long way. If you see the hydrophobic properties lessen just apply another coat it's fun and easy. 😀👍 Glad to have you as part of the Chemical Guys Family
