As a professor at UofT I really enjoy watching your videos about the different universities (did my undergrad at York, my Master at Waterloo, and PhD at UofT). You should try to do a series with interviewing profs ;) I’m glad some students say profs are approachable and want students to succeed, because that’s mostly true.

I got the offer for my Master at McMaster today. I‘m only given one week to decide if I accept or decline the offer, which is pretty tough, since I applied to a lot more schools some of which hasn’t asked me to do an interview yet. Anyway, life at McMaster seems really cool!

Sumaiya Khatoon thank you!!! 😊I’ve decided to go to another school instead of Mac. Interviews or not differ from program to program. For the one I applied at Mac, they don’t have interviews, so yeah I got the offer immediately after their review process. Good luck on your application!!

LOL at the response to U of T. I make my living as a writer, and U of T profs are the only university profs who troll me. They send me random nasty emails correcting my grammar or saying my published works are too low brow for their exquisite tastes. Witty, sarcastic replies are lost on them. They just amp up their innate trollness. My writing is published globally, but I swear to you, the only troll-mail I receive from U profs, is from U of T.

The bus pass isn't free, they charge you for it in your tuition, but you can opt-out

That sounds rly cool! I recently got into eng for this fall. How easy/hard was it to find internships and coops? Are there lots of clubs and research opportunities available? Also, how difficult is the transition to large first year lecture halls from high school? Is it possible to do engineering as a premed, do you know anyone who has done it? Thanks in advance

That's crazy, UofT has been my dream school too!! But I wish I applied to Mac! It looks great. I got into UofT and Western with AEO, and I personally committed to Western bc after a lot of research I realized UofT wasn't for me. Far too depressing and although im pretty nerdy lool I know I want to live a little. Base your decision on what YOU think is best for you, write down all the factors u care about and see which university really fulfills that. Good luck :)

People have such rage for UofT. I don't get it. went there, my husband went there , our daughter is now there. I guess it depends on a students perception of what they are getting into and whether or not they are truly prepared. We had a great time and did very well.
