What a shame gyaru fashion was not mentioned. Atsuzoko boots and sandals are a gyaru staple! Being a gaijin gyaru myself, I can confirm I own more platform shoes than I can justify. They're just so flashy and fun to wear!

My father bought me my first pair of platform shoes.He gave me 20 dollars and I went and chose the first pair I liked (Sixteen at the time) They were high lightweight and yes springy

I’m just really jealous of Hamish’s name. He has to have one of the best and most creative names in the world. And *SO* British. I met somebody last month whose name, no lie, is Jada January. Her last name is seriously January and her parents named her Jada. #nameenvy

when i was ten my moms friend gave me her platform sandals (2000), i remember running around the playground in them haha ten years later i was obsessed with rocking horse, bought some dupes now i enjoy comfortable platform sandals
