Two inches difference doesn’t seem that much on paper since it’s usually the top of the forehead, but in photos it is quite noticeable. However when you’re walking together I’d say people wouldn’t be able to tell if it’s a 1-2 inch difference; especially if your shoe heels are different creating that centimeter difference on average. On the other hand, three inches would make a marginal difference imo, especially in pictures since that’s how I was in pics with my older brother and father. 1 inch, is where it’s kind of oblivious, you’d have to get real close to know the difference.

People tell you to just be confident without realizing that height affects everything in life, not just dating but in how seriously you're treated by coworkers, bosses, etc... and it's hardwired into our biology to associate height with competence and leadership. Nothing to be "confident" about.
