I still can't believe the game lets player to max everything this early... And I still can't really understand whether its because of the balance changes in Royal or because of the players being more experienced in Persona 5 mechanics.

@@tikhonbatkovic A little of both. There's several more evening slots than in the original which helps. I also didn't forget to grab my free points from stuff like crosswords and juice and whatnot. Also the speed reading book is available really really early.

@@zeiicypher6667 Yeah, I was kinda shook with the "Speed reading" book from the school library! So, that means in P5R you dont need to grind all other Jinbocho bookstore books to gain access to "Speed reading"? Does that bookstore grant player with some other useful book in the end, though?

@@tikhonbatkovic I think it still gives you speed reading if you missed it in the library, but it only takes 3 books now instead of 5

@@tikhonbatkovic The Jinbocho book store now gives you a book that increases the number of elements that inflict technical damage on mental statuses like Forget and Confuse. You have to go through 5 books, 1 for each stat, which all have 3 chapters and then the Technical book will unlock, with only 1 chapter.

Ye I finished all confidants and social stats by December 10th Then I just spent all my time playing billiard and darts, once I maxed all of that as well I spent all every day and night in the gym.

Royal makes things so much easier. Vanilla was a lot harder for me to max stats, especially since I spent a lot of time grinding in momentos instead of hanging out with more confidants

Yeh you can but you have to use every single bit of time spend well no slacking or wasting time wich i love i love this time management aspect this social stuff is what makes me replay the game over and over

@@SpriteZero I'm pretty sure it doesn't affect it that much. Since after 1 big trip you will have done plenty of missions. From what I heard, you don't need to complete as many missions for Mishima in Royal as the original.

Sit in the blue sofa in Shinjuku. All Saturdays in the station you can drink an special juice. In the Donut shop in Kichijoji if you examinate it, Morgana ask you a mini quiz. Obviously when you get correct questions in school. Should be more, but this is all I could see until summer

I think the point system is 1=1 so on so on in original persona 5 but in royal it's easier

I have a few more guide style content I think I'll do for P5R such as getting the best equipment and a strategy for the new secret boss since it's actually a pretty unique fight. After that I will probably do some videos covering Persona 5 Scramble since I've completed that game as well.

If you're trying to maximize your points in a round, the bullseye isn't actually where you want to be aiming, anyway. Bullseye is 50 points, whereas you can get 60 by hitting the inner ring on the 20 section. Often overkill, but if you're playing 701 (Thanks, Akechi...), every little bit counts. But yes, definitely put where you're aiming at either the very top or bottom of the oval. Because of the way the dot travels, this essentially doubles your time window to hit the target. Also, hopefully most people know this already, but you can hit X to throw the dart, rather than the awkward motion control tilting. Nothing in the game tells you this, so far as I can tell, and for me, anyway, there's a vast difference in reaction time.

What you want to do is finish palaces the bare minimum number of times necessary; the timing of when to do it isn't as important.

The actual differences in maxing everything between P5 and P5R is very minimal; in both instances, outside of Kasumi who is a special case, you can finish everything by November, with most done by September. Also, the amount of times Morgana tells you to go to sleep is exactly the same in both games; what is different, is on nights you return from a Palace or Mementos, that isn't a forced story trip, you can still do activities around Le Blanc. If it wasn't for the Le Blanc change, it would actually be stricter in P5R due to other changes.

It's always best to finish Palaces in 1 day to maximize time.

Don't worry about it. I started Iwai only around October or so. Still maxed all Social Stats by November and all Confidants by December.

If there's an opportunity to hang out with a Confidant (that will rank them up), go for it, unless it's one of those scripted hang outs where they call you the day prior, because those don't give you the freedom to see the possibilities for the next day and decide accordingly. Try to finish Palaces in the least amount of time possible, then work on Confidants. Working on Confidants will automatically give you a few Social Stats, and whenever there aren't any Confidants that you can hang out with, either go to Mementos (if there are 3 or more targets available) or work on Social Stats. Make sure to maximize the points you get with every Confidant hang out, too (use a guide to see the best dialogue options, and take a matching-arcana Persona)

Hmm, no time for it? I guess I don't understand this sentiment given that maxing everything in one playthrough is more time efficient than doing two. Especially considering you basically have to go out of your way not to max everything in one run with how much leeway you are given. In a non-optimized run that does both you can max social stats by the end of September while being on track to max confidants in December.

These points have been a thing since the original version of Persona 3 when social stats were implemented into the series. Figuring them out is all about testing. Luckily, the JP community has a lot of information from the testing they've done already.

That means you first need to gain more affection with them.

The 2 options you have: Go to the Meiji Shrine, or visit Chihaya (After R5)

I will be covering P5S soon (already beat the game). tl;dr, it's not good; you already know 80% of the story if you've played P5 since it re-hashes a lot; and there are 0 confidant/social elements in the game. In fact, the only confidants that show up besides your party members are Sojiro and Sae briefly.

Money is not an issue in Royal. Put you stamps in Mementos towards money and you will have more than you know what to do with.

I have a top tips video if that's all you need. Other than what's mentioned in that there really isn't anything you should progress first as the answer would be, everything.

Social stats carry over but confidant ranks do not.

Very possible. You can actually do everything possible except what can only be done on NG+ in one playthrough, and still have time leftover.

The game does give you ample time to do everything; in fact, you can do literally everything possible except the NG+ only things in one run). For where you currently are you should still have time for all confidants/social stats but it may be tight.

@@acesan1998 It's not just about using each time slot to do something, it's about using each time slot efficiently. Some activities provide more points than others, some confidants are better to rank up earlier, some events aren't worth doing at all, etc. Also, limiting how many times you go to Mementos as well as clearing Palaces in one day helps a lot.

@@RozalinGaming I havent visited mementos once since its introduction (waiting for atleast 5-8 requests) But does it matter which confidant I rank up since it takes the same time ? (not counting event ones or locked ones)

@@acesan1998 Focus on Ryuji to rank 7 for making money when you do go to Mementos and unlock and focus on Chihaya ASAP as she is the most busted confidant.

There's a Retro Games Store in Akihabara, you'll unlock it shortly after the 4th Palace. But first you need to buy the console from the second hand store near the cafe in Yongen.
