EVGA GTX 1080 Ti Vs GTX 1080 Review and Benchmarks with Core i7 4790K @ 4.6 GHz
Both the GTX 1080 and GTX 1080 Ti are overclocked to the maximum the cards can handle, boost clocks are roughly the same between 1950-2000 MHz

I am also currently building a new system based on i7 6800K with MSI Gaming Pro Carbon Motherboard and 32GB DDR4 3000.

Should i upgrade anything for BF: V (Battlefield 5 WWII) if i want to continue gaming @1440p ultra with stable fps, maybe CPU? I7 4790k to I7 8700k? Does the 4790k bottleneck the 1080ti? i have the exact same specs but with a 980ti and im planning to upgrade to1080ti

Not really, it was driving my 1080 Ti just fine, and I upgraded to 6800K running @ 4.4GHz and different is minimal

Nothing that you should worry about, specially at higher resolution 1440p/ultra-wide 1440p and 4K, we are talking about 5% difference @ 1080p the difference could be higher but still around 10% compared to 7700K for example, still not drastic difference and gaming experience should be the same.

guys i using a z97-k 16GB ram 250Gb ssd 1TB black hard drive with 4790k does that bottleneck a asus or gigabyte strix or extrem editon gtx 1080ti

Do you have that 4790K overclocked? if not It may bottleneck it at 1080p by 10% or so, if you are at 1440p or 4K, difference is negligible

650W if you are running GTX 1080 Ti and an overclocked CPU. EVGA makes quality power supplies, anything with 80+ bronze certification or better would be very good
