Nathan Chen may have all the quads, but Evgeni is in a class all his own. He has the agility, grace, and artistry that makes him a true legend. He has the charisma that gives him the connection to his audiences. He has the ballet and beauty in his skating which is pure poetry in motion. There are no other skaters out there in the world like him. Now he has a class of children who are being taught by the best and they are so lucky to have him. He is teaching them more than just quads. They are learning how to have the same artistry and beauty in their skating like he has. Evgeni is also teaching his son and Alex looks just like his Dad and you can see how he looks up to him and wants to be just like him.

This video was so much better than another I saw. This has more energy and footwork that works with the song. You can't do next to no footwork, etc and expect it to reflect the energy from the movie. Evgeni Plushenko put the energy into the routine and it showed and it worked. An excellent performance!!!

Florence, he's still skating - beautifully! He only does shows and exhibitions, no longer competing, but he does shows called Kings on Ice, Fantasy on Ice, etc. He's done a lot of shows in the first half of 2018, and now his little son Sasha is performing, too. your timing of his skating was really good :D so much fun to watch. almost wanted to laugh during that scene where Alexei Mishin is looking on. If I didn't know better (knowing it was a practice skate), it looks like he's cutting loose with his coach shaking his head at him for goofing off. which of course isn't true because he takes even practices seriously

Che peccato che si sia ritirato già nel 2017.Un talento raro,non solo un grande pattinatore, ma anche un grande ballerino con un ottimo ritmo e senso della musica.Peccato che il tempo passi in fretta e ci si debba ritirare,sarà comunque un ottimo allenatore per i giovani talenti ,compreso il figlio.

Thank you !!! So glad you think so, well it's a bit of everything, there's footage all over the place like: training, testing, galas, exhibition shows, etc.. I'll love to point you the names, places and dates of this shows, but I don't have the vids with me anymore. He never dance to footlose as far as I know :)
