I have this amp and have it set pretty much identical and it's a fire-breathing monster! The only difference is that I like a less hairy and tighter rhythm sound so I keep my blue Channel gain at about 2:00 and have a Keeley compressor in front of it. But yeah that's crazy, pretty much every other dial is almost exactly where I have mine and I run it through two Orange ppc212s and it just screams!!!

Wow, I tried these settings on my 50 watter, and they are amazing. I'm playing through a much different guitar, but sounds badass!!

That amp is such a beast! I always liked it when it first came out before the concentric knobs & all that. The EL34 is nice but the blue channel is kinda meh. At least to my ears. Excellent video as always dude! Keep doing the good stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🤘😁🤘

My local store had the 50watt in stock and got a great deal on the trade. I Have it going into my Mesa 2x12 V30. I can live on the Red channel for the rest of my days 😄 happier than a pig in shit. The best part of day is turning this amp on after work 🤘🔥🤘 cheers dude 🍻

I like this a lot..I got my 50 watt Stealth head in January and it is amazing..with my original 5150-3 50 watt head it was so dry I always needed just the slightest bit of reverb to moisten it up,my Stealth 50 needs nothing..it sounds so much better than my original 50 watt head..but I still use a little bit of reverb for leads mainly. I just checked my settings on the Blue channel and almost the same as yours,just the Presence to 1pm mid 11 am..Resonance at 1pm...Red channel I run the gain at 3pm for that sizzle and serious sustain...running through my Laney 2-12" with a Vintage 30 and G12H-75...just sounds so massive its my favorite amp I've ever had or played. I have my stealth a year now. The best amp I bought in decades. Gives me an erection everytime I strike a power chord 😀 ( and I’m 56). It destroys my bandmate’s 100w Marshall. Awesome video as well with good dial in suggestions. Thanx

I watched a newer video of yours comparing the 100w to the 50w stealth and your overall opinion is that the 100w sounds thicker/fuller. Are you still of the opinion that you can get the 50w version to sound close? Or does the 100w completely blow it away? :D I wonder if using a 4x12 Mesa cab would improve that lack of low end... hmmmmm.

Hi there! Awesome demo and you are an unbelievably good guitarist. Question if you have time: what tubes are you running? If you retubed from the stock ones? Right now i have tung sols for the preamp and sovtek wxt+ for the power tubes. Also, i am running througha 2x12 with greenbacks, but i also have a pair of V30s... after your demo, i think im going to try those... greenies are spongy and more organic. Thank you very much again.

Is there a way to set up your rig so the OD pedal goes off automatically when you switch to the clean channel, or do you have to tap dance several times?

Changed those power tubes on a Mesa Boogie 6L6. It will get more chunky on mids and low

Just got mine 2 weeks ago. Using my Headrush (4CM) without amp & cab sims for effects. Have EQ and volume pedal in front, then EFX Loop patch with time based efx in the efx loop. Any suggestions on how to get I/O levels correct on the pedalboard so as to not adversely affect the amp output sound? OBTW, this is an incredible amp. I even like cranking the gain on the green channel for a little dirt.

Hi! I'm a new owner of a EVH 5150 III 50S. The amp has a big noise problem. I mean: when even mothing is plugged in the ammount of Niagara falls noise, when you raise the volume above bedroom level, is ridiculous. Is that normal?
