that was a great hang and very good insight on the amp and its dynamics! Best review out there for sure. Cheers🤘😎

In case you didnt realize it ,the natural channel has no EQ controls thats why the sound never changed.

How are you running into the Friedman? I put the ToneX one from 1/4 to xlr into it and it will only give volume with reverb even if the capture doesn’t include it
@thisguy2973Күн бұрын
Definitely. I had two different guitars with Fishman fluence moderns and return them both.

Call me nuts but I prefer the JVM410 boosted over the Splawn QR. It sounded more balanced and the mids fell apart on the Splawn. I also feel the JVM sounds less refined and more aggressive.

Gigged one every week sometimes three, plus rehearsals every week for six years solid, brilliant amp

Mezzabarba is one of my fave amps I have heard on KZfaq (never demoed one live....). Clean tone is so warm and still with some top end sparkle, but doesn't have the too-glassy solid state sound which I hate on cleans. Drive sounds are just so fat and bourbon-smooth to my ear, without the buzzy square-wave on top that a lot of amps have. Could not be better. Love it!

If I want to use my analog delay and reverb pedals, how do I use these with the player? I assume you just put them AFTER the Kemper - but the Kemper has balanced L&R out and would be going into pedals wanting to see unbalanced TS cables? Also putting them after the Kemper would then require a DI box right to pull an XLR at the end of the chain to FOH/recorder.

Not once was these two amps compared, you just held a guitar and rambled about facebook groups for 43 minutes...

I agree and I got it just a couple months ago and I hook it up through a tube return in the effects loop and use it on my pedal board. It's now been a year and they just now as of July 10th I believe it was on my birthday that fixed latency issues it has when trying to use it as live rig. It's working great now. I also know what you mean by many of the tones people load onto it. But now people are figuring out how to do it right and I have to say. Some of these captures, especially ODS Dumbles, Two Rock, PRS captures you can find on there now. HOLY SHIT! Some really bad ass tones!~ Many people are finally get clean tones down better with the volume levels as well that were so low! I have to say, I am more than happy with it now.

Friedman knocked it out of the park with this amp. Somehow he achieved the sound of loud without being deafening! My favorite Friedman’s are JEL and Twin Sister.

The lead tone was not too bright for my tastes... I like a glassy lead tone. But with a programmable midi switchable EQ in the loop the possibilities would be endless That's one incredible sounding amp

My '96 VHT Pitbull 50CL w/ graphic EQ records like a beast. It will make your chops better because to get the aggressive tone it's known for, you need to be playing very deliberately.

Had a voodoo modded JMP 2204 20 years ago and regretted selling it as it sounded amazing…not versatile enough at the time. Trace works with pretty big name bands now…those complaining he ruined their amp are just idiots.

J.. just bought both Brutal packs.. they are AWESOME.. better than any of the standard Captures.. but my audiotechnica headphones are getting blown up with the gain.. my EMG's are killing my headphones.. cant handle the push.. lower output pups smoothed it out a bit.. but having to dial back gain for crappy headphones.. ughh. time for new phones to handle the brutal power.. lol.. Thanks man.. !!
