This movie was an absolute juggernaut when it came out. It started the 'MILF' term, and was quoted by everyone everywhere, at least where I'm from. I'll forever know these actors as these characters no matter what other film they're in.

Im 40 graduated 2000 this was our favorite movie going into senior year. It was realistic and enjoyable. Was really cool how the following movies kind of matched uo as I grew up. To the next step is a fitting toast. Great reaction.

Fun fact: The scene where Jim and his dad are sitting on the bed and looking at the magazines, you can see how Jim was actually so close to cracking up when he opens the "Shaved" one. That's the take they kept. Can't wait to see what horror movie is in store next week as I liked the Halloween reaction.

Great reaction to an awesome movie. And same here, I'm a HUGE Buffy The Vampire Slayer fan. BTVS was definitely one of the greatest TV series ever. Btw, the very first time I remember seeing Alyson Hannigan on screen, was in the movie 'My Stepmother Is An Alien' (1989). And I'm sure that as a BTVS fan, you would appreciate that both Alyson Hannigan and Seth Green were kid actors in that movie.

American Pie 2 is the best of the series

Just an all-time great movie. Saw it in the theater when I was in college and I don't think I have laughed that hard...ever. I can honestly say that this movie just about nails exactly how it is to be a high school boy-straight, no chaser. It's amazing how rewatchable it is. Great reaction.

It's like "Animal House" for millennials, and it did make a big impact on pop culture. For a few years in the very early 2000s, I'd hear people on TV and elsewhere refer to a cougar as a "Stifler's mom." It's credited for launching several film careers, but few of these actors hit it really big afterward. Hannigan's the biggest success story, but she already was big from "Buffy: the Vampire Slayer" and transitioned into a successful sitcom gig for several years. Chris Klein had some success afterward, as a knockoff Keanu Reeves type, but his best performance was in "Election," which came out that same year. I recommend it highly as a great exploration of modern society and suburban decay through a high school class presidential election.

Such a classic. And yup, sex is a totally different thing for guys as it is for girls. For guys it's not emotional at all. It's just a stress release and fun. Even once married. Girls being concerned about being ditched...fair concern, but if they don't want that, don't date the jocks and chads and bad boys who just want to bang and ditch. Sadly girls don't see the nice guys as attractive so they screw themselves over literally.

These main series movies are so good. Some even weren't always popular, are still SUPER fun to watch and hilarious. Each movie has good feel moments too.

PS-Buffy is my favorite show too and Alyson has a much bigger role in the sequels.

If you liked American Pie, I think you would also enjoy Animal House, Fast Times At Ridgemont High, There’s Something About Mary, 40 Days and 40 Nights, and Porky’s. Porky’s is basically an 80’s version of American Pie. It is very interesting to get a female perspective on these types of comedies.

I’m a huge Buffy fan too, I loved Willow and Spike since I’m bi , and I loved Buffy and Spike together, more than Angel because Angel is a bit of a dbag as a human vampire and a vampire with a soul,Spike was better in every way, as a human Spike was a sensitive poet,even as a vampire he held onto more human emotions than most and he was a better vampire killing 2 slayers even though he only did it to impress Angelus,and then he actually fought to get his soul back, Angel got it back as a curse
