Update on the gas thing: The TV show has confirmed Ash does in fact gas up his chainsaw. In one episode he tells Pablo to gas up his saw for him, which Pablo fails to do. Sadly, the chainsaw dies its permanent death in the TV show, probably the single hardest-to-handle casualty of the series. I've never cried over a broken chainsaw before.

I personally like Odin the most of the regular hosts. He uses many interesting techniques and unusual but effective solutions to issues. He also seems to use the varied selection of materials, so that everything isn't just cardboard, screws, and hot glue.

I'm going to use this tutorial reference for my Mettaton cosplay. He doesn't have a chainsaw in the game but it's a popular headcanon that he has a chainsaw. It's extremely oversized and pink and gaudy. It's beautiful

I have no idea what this is from, but this build is AWESOME to watch!! It's neat to see people make stuff out of foam etc, but it's really cool to see someone actually bust out some tools and make a prop. Odin's definitely my favorite of the new hosts.

See that drill he's using? They make a chainsaw attachment for them. You could build the body of the saw like he did, put the drill in it, attach the chainsaw attachment, get one of those 25 buck handheld smoke machines, rig that all together at around the price of a drill and a tiny smoke machine, and bam. You got the real thing.

So next time, can we build the Fat Man tactical nuclear catapult? With the Fallout Anthology, we have reference dimensions, and then use that to establish a comparison scale... then show us at home how to do it on a budget.

the most expensive indispensable tool is the heat gun, which is like 15-20$

Most of the tools are pricy, but are reused in almost every project. You're going to have to invest a little. However, the parts and craft materials are fairly cheap.

Nope. Cost me over double what he listed for everything, at least the stuff I could find. Can't find the right 4" flange either. Might be a regional thing or prices have just sky rocketed since last October.

The key-minder and the construction of the blade are brilliant. I wish that there was a slightly different finish on the body of the chainsaw, but all in all, this is a great build.
