In Evil Dead: The Game, the Pink F is a pink bottled beverage you drink to upgrade your character. In Ash vs Evil Dead: The Television Show, meanwhile, the Pink F is a flamboyant, boozy cocktail known by a different, ruder name. Watch Mike and Andy mix themselves a version of the Pink F at London's Loading Bar and suffer the consequences.

“There’s no safe legal way to do ketamine” I’d just like to point out that prescribed ketamine is used in some depression treatments. It is not, I assume, administered as part of a cocktail, though.

@@deadskimountaineer Aye. I got a dose in the emergency room when I was injured and they needed me to not writhe around in agony whilst they ran me thru a CT scanner, but also be aware enough to follow instructions. Got the injection. Turned to my husband and said, "This is DRUGS."

not only "used", it's "experienced", since the "k-hole" (the fun feeling people have when use this drug) is a fundamental part of the treatment (our brain is so weird). but different to conventional treatment, the patients only have one dose/week of the drug. very effective, according to the studies using it. mushrooms are also used to treat depression, and MDMA is used for PTSD.

I read "nutmeg" on the list and had sudden flashbacks to The Nutmeg Incident. Edit: Mike, there _is_ a responsible way of doing ketamine... administered by a medical professional during some (human!) surgeries.

yeah, Ketamine is actually used for a lot of anesthetic purposes. It's actually one of the anesthetics LEAST likely to cause permanent harm. But you need VERY carefully controlled doses.

In my experience, moonshiners in the woods have actually gotten quite artisinal in their flavorings. Last one I had was apple pie flavored and it was sublime. Definitely worth the 2 hour drive up into the mountains.

We've got a moonshine guy who does praline, lemon drizzle, blood orange and mixed fruit. Praline is a must. The wild berry tastes like cough syrup but in like, an amazing way. Haven't tried the others yet

It's so sweet to make the ketamine tolerable. 😂 😂 😂 Also we use ketamine all the time in the ER it doesn't suppress the resperatory reflex and acts like a general anesthetic. It's super useful. I k-holed a toddler once to remove a Flintstones vitamin from his nose. It was Barney btw.

Small but important note, in America lemonade isn't usually carbonated, it's a flat fruit drink. So the proper Pink F isn't carbonated.

yeah traditional lemonade in the US is basically diluted lemon juice with added sweetener, usually sugar.

It's slightly more involved than dumping lemon juice in sugar water. You can zest things up by slicing off the lemon peels and burying them in the sugar for a few minutes. The sugar will draw the oils out of the peels, which then goes into the water and juice where you then strain the peels out once everything is mixed.

@@casesandcapitals also as a kid my folks found a machine that can make carbonated beverages at home. carbonating fruit juice is usually a disaster. Pretty sure British lemon pop doesn't have enough fruit in it to be proper lemonade. and that's gonna DRASTICALLY change the taste of the finished drink.

The way Chet describes it the zest is a garnish - which means it would be a strip of rind like you get in a Martini or an Old Fashioned. The nutmeg is also described as a garnish. Based on the recipe I would say do the following: Add the vodka, grenadine and strawberry liqueur to the shaker, possibly with some fresh lemon juice as it sounds unbelievably sweet. The lemon juice would also make the drink paler and cloudier like the drink in the show. Though that could also be the K.... Add ice and shake hard for a few seconds Strain into a tall glass filled with ice Top with lemonade Garnish with an orange zest strip - cracked over the top to release the oils - and a sprinkle of nutmeg and serve.

hmmm... it occurs to me this recipe if made super-fresh... could use Lemon Zest... fresh off the lemons you squeezed. IIRC the rind is less tart than the actual fruit.

Since it's a US-based drink - the lemonade is still and not fizzy. In fact, it's lemon juice, water and sugar. It's also very different in flavor from fizzy pink lemonade because a good lemonade makes you pucker a bit. Agree with the nutmeg being a garnish as well as the orange peel (not zest). It would still be very good - but also very different from what the guys mixed up here.

Ketamine have a few medical uses in anesthesia and pain management, it is also used against some forms of depression. I guess those could be considered "responsible uses".

I love these videos!!! Thanks for making another one! It’d be cool to make your own drink recipes on games. Like a red liquor or fruit with red syrup for “blood” and red fruit bits like pomegranate seeds and smashed raspberries for “flesh” for Resident Evil inspired (oh or even a green minty one with “heath mixes” like matcha for the first aid spray!). "That's about 3 shots." Oh, my dears, in the US (at least in my state) legally a shot is 1.5 fl oz. And a mixed drink can have up to 3 fl oz of hard liquor and be legally considered a drink.

It isn't completely uncommon for a martini or manhattan to sometimes have 4 oz of liquor in them. I find it funny when these get looked down as "girly" drinks when they are often the strongest drinks you can order.

@@TJBrumfield Oh definitely. Mixed drinks often have more than the legal limit of alcohol in them around me. Because what's the police going to do, check everyone's recipe cards? But if there's one thing I remember from my 4 hour BASSET certification class, it's the legal amounts of liquor you can serve someone. And how wildly inconsistent they are.

I thought maybe sherbert for a replacement. Now I'm at the end of the video I think sherbert would be a great substitute :) This one went much better than some of the older ones haha

I’d recommend putting the ice in last, right before you mix. Your ice won’t start melting before you are using it - which would dilute the drink too much

Yeah, I’m guessing the bottle was 10-12oz, which is well over a whole cup (8oz). That said, it’s probably no different than a half cup of actual lemonade with soda.
