@@somerandomgadzo4778 and even integrated graphic in AMD (APU) are two times better than Intel Integrated HD graphics (Vega 11> UHD 750) Intel even had to drop prices because of AMD so you can thank them for lowering intels prices I guess

@@randompirates4824 I don't live in the USA but I hope that they actually at least make the price stagnant (or raise slightly cause of the probs in 3nm and smaller production) unlike intel that released basically the same product for increased price. the industry is getting competitive again which is very nice. just wish that they get competitive in price too

@@MPH2210 yes, a computer runs more programs than the number of its cores/threads. But each program is run by a core, we do not have a program that is run by core A for a bit and than by core B. Also games use gpu threads more than cpu threads.

I mean I've joined team Ryzen, but yeah pretty much the reason I'm still sticking with Team Green for my GPUs is that DLSS is a huge performance hack in any game that supports it. Game changing. Raytracing I can take or leave at the moment, since no games are really flexing its abilities yet.

@KNAX_NO4H Actually. It doesn't. Apple products are horribly misleading when you realize how everything is built to be perfectly optimized for eachother when snapdragons are designed to fit a multitude of other phones. It's like comparing a console cpu to a cpu fitting hundreds of pcs. It's not the same. It's all worked with in house, and if you were to put that into a device that wasn't an apple product it would be massively worse. Don't forget they use old parts and screens from manufacturers they consider competitors and act like they introduced something new to a market.

I still have a Phenom II X4 :D Never had any real performance issues with my 955BE, altough I only played games on it :D I switched to a Phenom II X6, for almost free, it's not much of an upgrade, but at least it's a bit more efficient :D

First gaming PC I ever built, Phenom II x2 555 Black Edition, cost me 60$ new and unlocked to four cores and overclocked to 4.2 ghz on air with a hyper 212 cooler. AMD was the king of price to performance then, still is now... but prices are so inflated now

Honestly the i7 980x was too amazing, and the entire X58 lineup with the 6 Core Xeons and i7's was amazing I still use my 10 year old 6 Core W3670 on a 240mm AIO, overclocked to 4.7GHz, it's going amazing 10 years later

I love AMD, they keep intel prices down. It really sucks that most things work better on Intel. My friend could not even use his HP Reverb G2, because he was using an AMD system.

Thats a really strange comment. Basically everything works just as well on modern amd cpus as on intel cpus. There might be performance differences depending on what cpus you compare, but i dont understand why something that works on an intel cpu wouldnt wok on an amd cpu

@@sidforreal use more power, has less memory on average, msrp is more expensive on average, rasterisation performance is about the same. Basically the only advantage is rtx features. So they are subjectively ahead but not by much at all.

@@llSubSpacell yes correct... retracing is the only thing where Radeon card are lagging But modern consumers consider retracing thats why I said RTX is ahead May be next generation they come close !!

i once was that noob with the 6300fx bc it was the only 6-core chip i could afford and despite it being a part of the worst cpu lineup arguably ever.. i still loved my amd system more than words could express

I have three rigs with the fx4100 6300 and 8300, and a couple of Xeon x58 and x79 builds, theyre all snappy with a ssd and good ram size. The 4100 can play esports and some old triple AAA games. Its paired with a gtx660. The fx6300 is paired with a gtx670, the 8300 is paired with a R9 380 and can play modern BR titles like Apex titles quite well. Dont get me wrong, I started with intel. Celeron 500 to p4, to core2duo to core2quad, from i3 to i5, then to the FX series and Xeons. :) Both amd and intel are doing their part providing what we need, and thats something you cant put a price on.

I still remember back in the day when I upgraded from a P3-450 to a Athlon 800, and didn't go back to Intel until the Core i7 920 came out. AMD kicked butt back then, up until Nehalem came out.
