Shame they didn't replicated all three game overs for the N.Sane Trilogy, but I do like the detail of Uka Uka being in shadow for when you play either Crash 1 or 2 first, and then see him in light after playing Crash 3. I'll give them points for that, plus the sinister tone ^^

It was because Uka Uka was the puppet master basically for the first two games. So in the remastered one, for Crash 1 and 2, they put shadows over him so players didn't see his face. In the third one, you already know who it is now so they removed the shadows and let you see him.

I never realized how intimidating Cortex was in the second game over. I know that Uka Uka is intimidating in the third game but the n.sane trilogy is just too much! I got surprised by it and my dad was laughing saying it’s not that scary. Oh well.

I thought the Game Over Screen in the N Sane Trilogy was awesome. Uka Uka's face covered in darkness with glowing eyes, a demonic voice, and laughed after a few seconds.

That can only be seen when playing Crash Bandicoot 1 & 2. In Crash Bandicoot Warped (or Crash Bandicoot 3), the same animation plays. But the only difference is this: His face is no longer dark.

Crash 1: ending, kinda lighthearted and joyful, this puts an ease to my frustration. Crash 2: holy shit I'm scared, and angry that you're calling me lazy. Crash 3: Holy Fuck I'm terrified, but at least cortex was nice enough to say goodbye. Crash bash: No big deal Wrath of Cortex: Kind of a mix of scaring and caring, I feel like I'm talking to my dad trying to figure out if he's sober or not. Adventure: Freeze frame of terror. Twinsanity: No big deal, cool art though Mind over mutant: Credits of a Silent movie Remake 1 & 2: Holy shit this is the most terrifying one of them all Remake 3: Slightly easier to deal with now that he's fully visible.

The Crash Twinsanity game over screen scared me the most as a kid, it just shows silently with no sound and crash there like that, it gave me the shivers and I started crying to my dad cause he bought the game. I was that young ok? It's traumatizing. Edit: oh, and Crash of the titans game over screen too scared me the most

0:10 that's the game over screen for crash one? I've never actually gotten a game over in one before.(I'm not bragging, I just have bearly ever played it) Edit: 2:17 also there's 5(I think) more variations of the Twinsanity game over screen: there's a cortex game over, Nina game over, crash and cortex Duo game over, slip slide icecapade/rockslide Rumble game over(not sure if this one is a thing or not), and final boss game over/Twinsanity Island game over (which has evil twins, but I'm not sure if this one was removed or not).

He's actually the one behind Cortex's actions in the first two games. Telling him what to do from his prison. That's why he's still surrounded by darkness in 1 and 2.
