Yes bro! Same when i was around the same age don't know if i was tripping but i swear Mario's eyes turned red during the game over sequence, i noped out after that never touched the game again.

Last night I dreamed up a far scarier game over screen that would have appeared in later arcade versions of this game, showing the viruses flooding the patient's intestines. I was genuinely terrified of it. Like. Jesus.

God dammit. Always loved this game... ......but 25 years ago , the game over screen of the nes screen was my ultimate fear. The music and virus' faces...I can understand my younger self lol

Pinkie Pie is from My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic and my two Dr. Mario Rom Hacks, both Luz and Amity are from the Disney Tv series called The Owl House.
