I look at the elements of gameplay and storyline to bring to you the development of this influential character in the last few years.

The reason Shang Tsung in mk11 can change to Ermac is because in Ermac’s mkx ending, his thousand of souls were stolen by Tsung himself

But in the krypt on mk11 if you go to the bridge where the spikes are, you will have a cutscene of ermac being uppercutted off of the bridge and into the spikes, dieing instantly EDIT: FUCKING JESUS I GET IT KRYPT IS NOT CANON

Salma Kb Yeah and in MK11 he has the most awesome design. I also love that the Ermac version of Shang Tsung stop floating because I prefer Ermac as a mystic ninja with power than the whole specter thing. I remembered wondering how sick Ermac will look if he doesn’t wear a mask (he was my favorite character after Scorpion and Sub-Zero) and then NetherRealm gave him a rotten face

This Ermac's move is so iconic like Scorpion's Spear. Love this character! The other day I studied Ermac in the MKX in the Master of Souls variation and he can easily do 42% no meter. Ermac always has so big damage in MK games. In Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 and MK Trilogy - Ermac does 100% damage!

Personally felt he had the ultimate swag in the original timeline where he beat the mind controlled kung lao, Sonya, jax, and cage in a single fight and even defeated shao Khan. Dude was an absolute unit.

Zenos Hitomora Frost is not a ninja and the girls are considered edenian assassins (except Skarlet since she’s from outworld).

If they ever bring ermac into mk11 or the next game, he has to have his deception design, it's his best so far. The Mk9 alternate is pretty great too though.

MK Deception Ermac is the best Ermac. He was released of Shao Kahn's control by Kenshi and became a more indepedent character. He even taught that telekinetic slam move to Kenshi.

Fun fact: Ermac wasn’t even a real character at first In the series. The fans started a rumor about a secret character in the game when the first one released and they just said “well sure I guess” and added him in the third game
