Probably one of the funniest and most interesting signature moves of all time. The bicycle kick has been Liu Kang's staple since MK 2 (1993) until MK11. In this video, I look at the elements of gameplay and storyline to bring to you the development of this influential character in the last few years.

I mean it wasn't that bad of a game. Story was decent & the gameplay was solid. Fatalities were lacking, due to the T rating, but nobody wants to see Batman getting his spine torn out, or Wonder Women having her heart ripped out. ( Despite the fact that DC animation has been pretty dark at times )

Liu Kang's Bicycle Kick, or as I like to call it, the Turkey Gobbler. 🤣 I remember playing Mortal Kombat 3 on the Genesis, stumbling upon this move, laughed so hard at it, and kept using it for how funny Liu Kang looked and sounded. He became one of my mains ever since along with Scorpion!

I remember as a child, my mom bought Deadly Alliance for all 3 consoles (I had Gamecube, Mom had PS2, Big Bro had Xbox) when she saw that Liu Kang was killed in the intro, she took her disc out, put it back in the case, and took it back for a refund. They asked why did she want a refund. Her response: "them bitches killed my husband. I don't want this shit." My mom is a true Liu Kang fan🥲
