The "Champion" screens in Deadly Alliance and Deception used to scare the shit out of me.

In Deadly alliance they’re using actual styles. For example, hapkido and tang su do. I took both styles and some of the moves represented in the game were actual moves we learned in class. After scorpion wins when he puts both his fists straight down in front of him, that’s called ready stance and is the stem of all moves in hapkido. Just thought it was cool to see stuff I learned for 8 years in a video game.

Shang Tsung in MK1: Every character flashes out of the old man and faints Shao Kahn in MK2: Teleports all around, turns into stone and explodes Shao Kahn in MK3/UMK3/MKT: Turns into a giant green laser and explodes along with his temple Shinnok in MK4: Head gets spiky, explodes and gets flushed down a diabolic toilet... I mean, expelled back to Netherrealm Quan Chi/Shang Tsung in MKDA: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING (i'm disappointed) Onaga in MKD/MKU: Flames up and bursts Blaze in MKA: Same as Onaga Dark Khan in MKvsDCU: HAHAHAHAHA DARK KHAN IS A BALLOON Shao Kahn in MK9: Three final blows, get down, get back up, and explode Shinnok in MKX: Take that amulet out from is... oversized belly button?
