Um, her makeup was grade school material. She came out on the stage at least 3 or 4 times with that damn bruised Marcia Brady nose. It was stupid. Her looks were basic and boring and she was irrelevant all season long, and she’ll stay that way now that the season is over. Her Tim Gunn was the only thing she did worth opening my eyes for. i think its mostly about differentiating drag from cross dressing. marcia3 was kinda teetering that line because she kinda just looks like a normal girl sometimes and not a drag queen (like an extravagent, exxagerated woman). the makeup thing was mostly to say "make it more drag". (also dont listen to michelle she has one idea of how a drag queen should be and if anyone breaks that mold its hard for her to understand lol)

I think she was wearing a lot of noticeable makeup but wasn't emphasizing the right elements.(Even Willam and Alaska said she just needs a bigger lash.) So she wasn't wearing a lot of makeup for a drag queen or for it to be noticeable enough on stage, hence the critiques.

I agree with this but Jan was always fully beat darling. I do think Marcia happens to be blessed with feminine features like her nose and eyes and therefore she looks pretty womanly even without a ton of makeup . Most girls paint to cover their masculinity but I agree people have hated me on this before but Trixie looks like a bug or an alien, she doesn't even look human with her makeup and there are plenty of girls who are following in her footsteps

That isnt Drag, thatd just be cross dressing or even just dressing nicely at that point, yes drag is a performing art but It has certain aspects to make it check out as "drag" no matter the aesthetic of the queen or whoever is in drag, there is a difference between having an aesthetic, changing certain things to fit your aesthetic and persona, playing around with different aspects of drag. Courtney Act never got this much backlash from the panel on her season.
