Nintendo just released the demo for Mario VS Donkey Kong for the Nintendo Switch which gave us a look at Mario's Death Animation And Game Over Screen. It's Been 20 years since the original game came out for the Game Boy Advance. Let's see how much the series has evolved!

I guess mario getting burned alive felt a bit dark for them to add that back so they changed it to the generic death animation that's mostly used in modern mario games

@@Hugelag I loved DK94, MvDK is basically a spiritual sequel with a much revised story while also still having it be similar to DK94… I’ve played the original, finished it and didn’t 100% it cuz the requirements can be tough in some parts, but I’m just blasting thru the thing in the remake xd

Why they changed the death animations for the remake of the first Mario vs. Donkey Kong game to the "traditional death throw", if to say, makes for a more comical and classic death animation. But honestly, Nintendo, for good all traditions... Why you change this.
