In AC3 if you walk for a few seconds when it's raining, Connor will rise his hand and cover his head or put his head down, or if you are wanted when a guard is seeing you Connor will cover his face (this one seems only working in the original) when walk in the deep snow, he will stumble in the snow with different animations if he runs or walk.

Half of them may not have idle animations but I appreciate how lively and constantly on the lookout they all are. Really fits the whole Assassin thing, scanning for opportunities, staying aware of their surroundings.

Well it's not entirely absent in a way. Evy does fiddle with her blade as a part of idle animation in the train.

There is, in Valhalla, Eivor will extend the blade, look at it for a bit, then retracts it. I'm guessing inspecting it to see if it still works or if the mechanism is still good, even after all the stuff they do.

Trivia: Odyssey is the only game in the whole saga where the protagonists don't even blink during gameplay (just in dialogue choices and cutscenes).

I love that they added a feature when you walk slowly through tall grass or wheat in Odyssey. Alexios or Kassandra would touch their fingertips to the grass, gently dragging them atop. I think that they had it in Valhalla too but I can’t remember. It was very calming and made the game that much more beautiful

Desmond Miles looked way different in every games until AC3. He shared his same face model as Altair and Ezio, so pretty much we see modern Altair and Ezio, but compare AC1 and AC2, which they connected to each other directly, they looked different. In AC3, Desmond looked slim and frail because of his long time stay in Animus, so when I tried to compare the faces, I'd say that AC3 Desmond Miles doesn't look like Altair or Ezio even I can imagine his chubby appearance, so we see him as a different person.

nah its cause the actor who played desmond/altair/ezio wanted more money so they dropped him and tried to create a model to his likeness, as seen in ac revelations and ac 3

The face model of Desmond in AC3 is the most realistic we've got and it's the most similar to Francisco Randez who did the capture for the face.

Desmond was modeled on Randez from the start, they must've used Ezio's model without a beard and some different textures in Revelations to explain Desmond's appearance of aging 20 years and 20 pounds, and with the drastic changes of 3, they had to make a unique Desmond model, which unfortunately just ended up looking like a wax chimpamzee with muscular dystrophy.

Well not really an idle animation, but in Unity if you have a musket equipped, you can see Arno holding it differently after a few seconds

I never realized that there was wind in Altair's robe when you are static ! It seems that they putt much more effort on the character animation in AC 1 than in the Ezio trilogy, surprising.

Also one other thing people doesn't usually show in their videos is the Hidden blade Takedowns. In my opinion best hidden blade takedown is in AC3 since it can turn to a slasher blade with that length lol. Anyway looking forward to new videos. Good luck on the channel

Well for Desmond the reason they changed his face was because the animus was stuffed and it pretty much mixed Altair, Ezio and Desmond face up so that why Desmond face different. For Ezio my guess is because he was older.

Something about Connor's model makes it look like he's constantly got his shoulders raised, and his idle animations all look like he's uncomfortable hahah. Meanwhile Desmond is just sore from lying down on the very uncomfortable looking Animus all day. Also seems he had a wedgie he needed to fix

"no animation"... dude what you're seeing is exactly the definition of "idle animation" - can be more or less complex or ccomposed or do more stuff, but the core definition of "idle animation" is exactly 2, brotherhood and revelations - just swinging slightly and doing small stuff like opening a hand or moving its head.

3:24 In bird body language, this means Ikaros see Alexios/Kassandra as his mate. Petting birds under their wings means 'we are mates', and is something s3xual to birds, and Ikaros, it seems, looks to be pleased by it by opening his wings and 'invite' more petting, and twitching his tail (which is where his 'vent' is. Sometime you'll see male bird rubbing/twitching their vent/tail. it means they're 'enjoying' themselves. So just a PSA to bird owners out there Lol.
