This video showcases the evolution/comparison of TAXIS (Cabs) LOGIC in GTA Games through a series of tests, with funny GTA gameplay moments.
Games covered: GTA 5, 4, San Andreas, Vice City & III. GTA 6 (GTA VI) will also be covered when it releases.
We'll be testing multiple things like Taxi drivers reactions, how fast are taxis etc. Let's see how smart/dumb Los Santos' "uber" drivers are.

Claude, Tommy and CJ can actually hop on a taxi when they die while doing a mission, and this taxi will take them to mission's starting point

For taxi prices, you must account for inflation. VC takes place in 1986, GTA III in 2001. The dollar was worth much more in the 80s than in 2000s. Still, 600 bucks is a ridiculous rate and I suspect that 70 dollars in 1980s was also quite exorbitant.

When I steal a taxi and start the taxi missions , somehow the taxi driver becomes the 1st fare in Vice city and he enjoys the taxi ride without saying anything !

To be fair, npcs with expensive cars are likely to afford insurance easily, or buy another vehicle. Taxi drivers will struggle to keep up with premiums, and thus was important to keep their source of income intact.

Lol this is why I'll always play Gta4 more even though I have Gta5. That conversation was amazing along with driving! Edit: I realised the perks of gta5 as gta4 physics are too overdone, cars aren't that weighty and don't slip or tilt that much in slow speeds. For the reply section, I have gta5 now for PC and I'm just waiting to get a newer gen console for my collection for the gta5 port there.

If you busted or wasted in a mission in gta vc you there a taxi driver take you to the mission in about 0 seconds and arrive you in 5 seconds which is the fastest one I don't know about gta sa
