@@erickfuchs7397 yeah but its expensive.. i am thinking of getting some of those scrap consoles to try and get them running, but even broken consoles arent easy to get by for a cheap price. People always have that 'i know what i have' attitude nowadays..

@@erickfuchs7397 I looked it up and i think buying a ps vita is the best option right now. There are some really clean examples and it can emulate everything downwards with a good display. Portable mgs 3 i am coming

The PSP and Vita lines were always amazing handhelds, but unfortunately in the West Nintendo dominated the portable market to the point they just couldn’t compete despite the more robust hardware

@@Lapran3 I don’t think it matters how good the hardware is when the library was pretty bad. That’s the thing with nintendo, they have pretty bad hardware but the game selection is great. For a portable device you don’t want the most high end gaming capability you just want to have a short fun time.

I have 2 models. Psp 1000 & 2000. Both of them still work. Bought in the year 2007 and 2009. But my new 3ds xl screen is dead bought in 2016. Sony is amazing.

Well you can buy a backbone 1 and download ps remote play to like recreate the Xperia play experience, since your phone will be the controller and the screen ( I think a PS5 needs to be turned on though )

I was a millionaire am a millionaire now. I wanted a psp as a kid my uncle got me psvita i was a little disappointed then. But now i have realized it was a treasure in 2000,s.in 2020 i started to reused i don't know how to install games but now from 2023to2024 it is jail break and the best console it is better then apple of that time.

They are making another one. Release date is around 2026. Its rumoured that it will run all ps4 and ps5 games from day 1.

The main problem, with both the PSP and Vita, is Sony overcharged for their memorysticks. The 3DS, on the other hand, used standard SD Cards.

Still got my psp go, it's too bad that the ribbon cable connecting the the screen snapped and I lost the charger eons ago. Imagine young me coming to terms with not being able to play those games again smh... But man does it take me back! Used to play midnight club la remix like crazy on that thing lmao!

@@CoolChickenNugget385 Yeah at this rate I'd say it's a lost cause tbh. When I was a kid I'd open the thing up to see if there was something I could do to fix/charge it as the ribbon cable wasn't the only thing broken, as the R1 _(right bumber since theres only one set there)_ trigger wouldn't return to its rest position and the hinge or the thing that hold the screen as its slides isn't attached to the screen on one side. To charge the thing without its charger I had cut up some random micro USB cable and exposed each individual wire so that I could put them into the batteries connector directly. Thinking back, that was obviously dangerous as hell though I was lucky to see no sparks or smoke but I'm sure that I did mess up that battery, not to mention the other things I was messing around with inside the device lol. I'm just glad that I still have my psp go even though it doesn't work after all this time, since I lost alot of childhood items when I moved houses smh

I had all my PSPs running cfw on them i even had a app that would let me copy a full game from a UMD straight to my memory stick remember when GameStop used to let you test the games for free so for example say someone worked at GameStop Fack them I could ask them to test a fans act like I was playing while the full game was copying to my memory stick

I really wish they made a PSP go version of the PS Vita because I think the design of the go was pretty good but having to give up the discs drive for it was what killed it with the Vita. you could still use the drive given it was a lot smaller
