They just popped out, but if your computer doesn't show them you can activate them. If you put the arrow on the video area, no clicking, you see some icons appear on the right bottom of the video. The first one is the subtitles one, it looks like a rectangle with lines inside, click on it to activate them.

I have used Transparent Glass Stain (water cleanup) on Premo clay, and it maintains its transparency. I have not mixed it with liquid clay, although I do have some Kato Liquid clay to try. It is important to mention that glass stains also come in opaque colors, so you should be sure to get the transparent if that is the look you want. The glass stain did maintain its glossy appearance also. And it was also possible to mix/blend colors such as to get a purple after mixing a blue with a red, but I only did that by accident! I have mixed Adirondack Alcohol Ink with Premo Translucent clay but not with the liquid clay because I only had the Sculpey brand at the time and I didn't like the less than desirable transparency of that brand.

Martha, thank you for sharing your experience! I never tried Glass Stain. I mixed Pinata with Cernit and Fimo translucent clay. But I didn't like it because inks had migrated in neighbour colors with time.

Здравствуйте! Гель хорошо использовать на горизонтальных плоскостях с ограничивающими "бортиками", чтобы не растекался, куда ему "вздумается". Для сложной выпуклой поверхности, при использовании геля, придется запекание делать в несколько этапов. Мне понравились французские краски "Vitrail" от Pebeo, хорошо ложащиеся на запеченную глину (в их линейке есть и прозрачная - для смешивания с более насыщенными оттенками - можно сделать любые цветовые вариации). Также, они остаются эластичными после высыхания, что удобно при сочетании их с полимерной глиной "Cernit", особенно в тонких гнущихся элементах. Как вариант для эластичной подложки - применяю фольгу (в малых формах удобна слегка тисненая от упаковки сметаны или плавленного сыра), на которой витражные краски хорошо просвечивают. После 72 часов полного высыхания можно сверху покрывать эпоксидной смолой для эффекта "3D".

Согласна, без бортиков с гелем сложновато работать. Краски эти не пробовала. Будет возможность - обязательно потестирую! Спасибо за совет!

Карина, замечательное видео! Классные кармашки для монет, отличная идея! А чернила я все только собираюсь попробовать сделать, мне советовали брать технический спирт, потому что медицинский вроде как быстрее высыхает (правда?))) Где-то читала, что окрашивали спирт пищевыми пигментами - для пасхальных яиц, например.

Аня, идея с кармашками не моя, я только подсмотрела :))) Какой из них быстрее высыхает, даже не представляю... Хм, пищевые пигменты - интересный вариант. Но мне кажется, они не очень яркие. Или просто мне такие попадались. В любом случае, эксперимент - наше все :))))))

Пожалуйста! Лучше всего специальными красителями для смолы. Если их нет, можно спиртовыми чернилами или гелевыми ручками, как и сам гель. Но обязательно все тестируйте! При чем до полного отверждения смолы. Иначе бывают сюрпризы.

Mica powders mixed with Sculpey liquid lost their shimmer. I'm using Kato liquid now (because it was cheaper at first, then I realised it was clearer after baking). It's a white liquid so testing color means baking, and I haven't tried that yet. But it does leave a glossy finish when baked, on both raw and pre-baked clay. If you want a matte finish, be careful where you put the Kato liquid.

It is very interesting information! I haven't tried Kato liquid, because it is difficult to find in Russia. I have ordered Kato normal clay and I'm waiting when it will come to me. Want to test :)

It seems here that those who try Kato clay prefer it to Premo. I've never tried it. We get Fimo sometimes, in a few colors, but it's harder than Premo and my hands are getting older and prefer Premo. I miss some of the translucent colors but now I make my own, with alcohol ink, but my absolute favorite is making my own pearl colors for mica shift. I just pick a color and start mixing and whatever I end up with is fine with me because the next time it will be something else. I just can't seem to get a good red pearl. Always pinks, but I want red.

Martha D it won't be a "mica" shift effect, but have you tried using just glitter in your red to get a shimmer effect? or just the smallest amount of premo pearl with red then add a bit of blue or purple for a deep red or burgundy color?

Как мне кажется, единственный способ сделать самопальные чернила - это раздобыть спирторастворимые пигменты. Правда в инете я их так и не нашел, по мне по знакомству отсыпали.А потом эти пигменты разводить изопропиловым спиртом или растворителем, типа 646 или еще какого, и красить)

Думаю, что в таком случае проще купить готовые :)))) Хотя, конечно, это уже не так интересно))
