Patricia, I'd like to share a tip with you and your viewers. While looking for dowels to make your endcaps on, I happened to notice a set of sponge brushes with various size dowels for handles! The package contained two each of size 1 inch down to 1/8 inch. The set was $3.10 at Walmart! Tried them out tonight and they were perfect! Easily stored in a zip lock bag!.....Thank you so much for your tutorials. You are a great teacher and your work is beautiful.

Absolutely wonderful! My husband and I make cabs and such with poly clay, I make the necklaces with Beaded Kumihimo ropes, or leather, or chain. The bead caps I usually use are the more expensive ones, I like the way they finish the jewelry. This is such a eye opening tutorial! I work with metal and can make most of my own findings, now, someday all of our jewelry will be truly hand made! Thanks so much for sharing.

I just love watching your videos. I learn SO much (and I thought I knew it all !!! ) JUST joking. I don't know if you ever read these comments but if you do.. don't even waste money on clay yo texture sponges. I bought them-3 per order- 9.99-expensive. That aquarium filter is the same thing only. I love the "nubbly" look too.I don't use the finer ones. It looks like rough sandpaper texture. I have a solid foot scrubber, Wal-mart, that makes great nubs. I spray it with armorall & put the clay on it instead of it on the clay. cooli-o Thank you for these great vids. It's lots of work and I appreciate it.

Hi Patricia, I’m watching your wonderful end caps video and I noticed the pretty greenish ones which look like the Lily cane that Cindy did on polymer clay tv. I tried to find it but I couldn’t so I think she must have removed it or whatever. My request is: could you do a Lily cane video using the pretty pastel yellow and sage green colors that Cindy has in hers? I would be ecstatic if you can! I want to do a Lily cane but can’t find hers and the others aren’t as nice. Thanx! You are an amazing, talented and generous soul and artist to share all your knowledge and works with us “newbies”! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! ❤️😉😊😍💕👍

@patriciaroberts-thompson5 жыл бұрын
Knotty But Crafty I was using a plumb bob to make the cone shape. But you can use large knitting needles or the end of a paintbrush to achieve the same results
@marystoddard91386 жыл бұрын
I really like these end caps. Saying that I’m goint to try to use my little magnets about the size of the eraser on the end of a pencil, make the clay solid about 3/4” the way and leave 1/4” hollow for the magnet. Then put an eye pen into the solid part and the magnet in the hollow part. I hope it works! You can use it if you get it work and make a video, I don’t know how to make a vid. And. Don’t have a computer etc. I hope you get what I’m saying.
@patriciaroberts-thompson6 жыл бұрын
Thanks Mary, just remember not to bake the magnet, it will lose a lot of it's strength if you bake it.
