Me n my girlfriend(ex) broke up 4-5 years ago. She keeps blocking and unblocking me on everything. And I had tough time moving on, and I did it. I got into relationship with some other girl. And she also got into a relationship. But my ex girlfriend keeps contacting me once every 6-7 months since we broke up. And also she took me for granted and she still thinks that I'll rekindle things with her and marry her ( I told her when we were in relationship when she asked me). So I guess that's why she keeps contacting me even though she is in relationship. I try to tell her to not to contact me. I don't know what to do now. Can you give me an advice ?

As much as you want her back, continuing to beg and plead and force contact is only going to push her further and further away from you. You have to do the opposite of what you're doing now and start focusing on yourself and validating yourself instead of looking to her to complete you. I would also suggest you start dating other people so you can develop an abundance mindset and take your ex off of the pedestal you've put her on. Do not contact her for any reason, she must reach out to you first. If she does in the future, use it as an opportunity to set a date. don't waste your time texting back and forth and going nowhere. Be direct and make plans. If she isn't willing to do that or is "too busy", tell her to let you know when she's free or if she changes her mind and then leave her alone until she reaches out again. I promise this is the only way to have a chance with her again if she still has any interest in you left.

If she makes contact with you, after 5 months, that's the worse thing that could happen. You're just a back-up. If she pulled away on a whim with no desire to work things out, she's a waste of time. Possible exception is if it's long-distance that killed the relationship.
