We see ex London Transport Titan's & a National at work with Arriva (ex MTL) in Central Liverpool at Queen Square Bus station, Monument Place and Prescot Street. Also seen are other Leyland National's with Arriva and CMT plus other buses of the period running by. Good to see Nationals and a National 2 making the correct noises in 2000 and no aftermarket taillights. Lots of double deck Nationals about.

Great to see WYV45T and also nice to see many Ts still with their small windows behind the drivers. Barely a minute or two into the video you also see a Arriva and Haltons Marshall Darts almost side by side.

I was at the University of Liverpool at this time. I remember the buses well.

The Titans were very popular in Liverpool with Merseybus taking over 200 and subsequently around as many more with not only their successors but rivals too.

The MTL Merseyside livery was a lot nicer than MTL London, which took the 'mostly red' injunction very literally
