6 weeks no contact I really don't expect to hear from her ever again even though there wasn't begging or chasing. Just assume they are dead and never coming back

What if you only dated for 6 months? It was an intense 6 months: I love yous all day long, FaceTiming most nights, one or two dates every weekend and sometimes during the weekdays…there was no real warning that she wanted to break up. She blindsided me.

The sad thing is, I was his rebound. I met him online and didn't realise he was only 3 months out of a live-in, 4 year relationship. He told me it was a mutual breakup. Lol how naive to believe that? I mean how often are breakups mutual?🤣 I only found out on one of the times he dumped me most violently. Yes to my shame he dumped me about 100 times but after dumping me, he'd always come back with a text with a x in it and confuse me. Anyway one vicious time, he burst out about his ex, how loud and bubbly she was "and that's what worked!" and that I'm not right for him and he "knows what it's like to want a future with someone but they don't want you!!!" How disgusting? Why do I still want this man?! I'm pathetic. But when he was nice he was wonderful. I kept hoping I'd get that version again... Anyway we were texting every day and then suddenly he started ignoring me then stonewalling me. I asked his news he said, "oh all sorts, you?" What do you think he meant by that? Maybe he wanted me to ask so he would be able to gloat that he's met someone. He doesn't like to wait long lol. Anyway it's been about 2 weeks no contact :(((( My only hope is that in my opinion, women usually don't come back but men do. I hope he returns but my answer was aggressive. I said Oh very evasive the mind boggles. I'm fine thanks. So maybe that will be the last message. If so then so be it. I wish I'd just sent an emoji rather than sound annoyed but oh well. If nothing else, he will miss dumping me!That was his favorite hobby and made him feel great!!!!!

I do not understand how any man could be still carrying a torch for a woman after so many months/years gone by. Surely a man has the ability to at least find a new romantic interest in that much time. Surely!
