This 10/1984 HJ47 is amongst the very last of the 40 Series released, this rig started life travelling tracks for Australia Post and is now a full mod-con HJ47.

1) Post is the domain of the Commonwealth. The Tare printed on the cab denotes it was a Commonwealth vehicle. It may have been a Telecom vehicle also. 2) There's no wheel balance weights on the FR wheel nor the spare. I suppose that'll be corrected before the owner hits the highway. 3) What can I say ? This vehicle is super. The only things it is missing are : a) Sunvisor, b) High Mount, c) A pair of South Australian made Fyrlyt Halogen spotlights. I applaud Mr Landcruiser for it's dedication to doing the job properly. That shows integrity and that matters :-)

@@MrLandcruiser not from Victoria are you , down here in Victoria seen hundreds of Ute's hj47 and never found any with factory air ,, troopies I have seen with air , but sheltered nah , guess is down in Victoria Toyota buyers were bit scabby or just didn't think they needed it , for me air is a must have option to enjoy your 4wd experiences even more

Some advice about turning a hj45 front brakes into discs would be appreciated. What Master cylinder to use.

You have to upgrade the Booster. We use and sell the 80 Series double diaphragm. We sell a spacer to make it fit. Then you can put the correct master on.
