This is one of those old standards that's been sung by everyone under the sun, but I first heard it in the brilliant instrumental version by Django Reinhardt. I've loved gypsy jazz and swing for many years now, and there's something innately springy about it to me. What better type of music then for a beautiful April day in the park? Huge thanks to the guys for agreeing to come do this with me -

Put this song ( with ensemble) on your set list at least for the next year when you start up touring and live performances again. You'll be a hit! Your next tour should be a retro cover tour showcasing your vast range of talent in so many genres. You'll be celebrating a look back into the vast American songbook as a reminder that the future still has so much promise. You do it so well! Grab all your talented friends and arrange, arrange, arrange! Jazz, classic rock, classic country, R&B, classic pop, Allison young Big Band and then end with your newest original. Reboot the return to live performances after the pandemic with a salute to the past and a look to the future.😎💪

The trio are also very talented, and all are to be praised for this rendition. It beats the Hot Club Of Cowtown version by miles, and up to now, that has been the best version out there IMHO.
