Hal Jordan once one shotted Krona, while krona had all the lantern rings and control over the emotional entities who are all universal+ in their own right. GL rings can also damage and kill higher dimensional beings who are on a multiversal level, like mandrak the dark monitor. It also protects them from being erased from existence and can survive multiversal level destruction, like kilowog surviving the original crisis or the GL’s being caught in the event horizon of Darkseid destroying the multiverse in final crisis. The GL ring can do anything if you have the willpower and Hal has that willpower. Nothing ben has is going to help him.

Thats actually explained in the show, Ben is very humble and does not believe in using god like power to solve every problem, most notably when Ben proved himself worthy of using the sword of askalon and uses it to fix the damage to the universe then just hands it back saying it wasn't his to keep because no 1 person should have control of that kind of power at all times💁

The only thing i care about is whether a OP character is used correctly or if they have a good reason not to just one shot most of the villians with a specific power/ability/Transformation immediately. If you give a hero, anti hero, villain etc no weaknesses or make them unbeatable that is bad writing regardless if the character is meant to be a parody, joke or serious character.
