Not so modern anymore, but Grizz-Thunder and Grizz-Clippers playoff rivalries were amazing. I think it was 2012 when the Grizz met the Thunder in the 1st round and 3 games went at least to overtime. That was the series with the Zach Randolph "punching" Steven Adams incident.

It was the 2014 West first round when the Grizzlies and Thunder met. The Grizzlies met the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round in 2012.

Clippers-Warriors was pretty good, though only one playoff series, Clippers never got to play them again cause they kept losing to Grizzlies, Thunder, Spurs, n Rockets in their prime.

Shame it had to end after 2018 because of Kevin Durant on Golden State forced the best players and staff to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers, including Tyronn Lue, David Griffin, LeBron James and Kyrie Irving, that’s why I hated the Warriors with an furiously exploding passion back then.

The first time was 2011 but that one you’re referring to is actually 2014 with the overtime games. I definitely remember that Grit and Grind era very well with Zach Randolph, Marc Gasol, and Mike Conley

@@RSpeller-ym6jjyou are correct! That series was spectacular. KD’s falling out of bounds corner 3 and Mike Miller and Russ trading clutch 3s. If the Grizz would’ve won that series I think they could’ve gone all the way. Courtney Lee was on that team too I believe. Great team.

Doc rivers only lost to the Celtics one time in the playoffs. Brett Brown doesn't run a lot of iso ball and he got curb stomped by the Celtics in the playoffs twice when he was sixers coach. So the sixers had one coach who runs heavily iso ball and another coach who came from the San Antonio Spurs organization who wants to pass and have the offensive flow. It still didn't matter the Celtics still won the Celtics are just a better team and a better franchise no matter who the sixers coach is.

One point about the Celtics and 76ers in the playoffs is the Celtics have a better overall team balance and their stifling defense against them. They put the clamps on the 76ers defensivly.

More than willing to admit i could be wrong, but wasn’t vegeta able to fight the mind control and chose not to? Maybe frieza and king cold were too powerful to be unwilling controlled and those two definitely would not choose to be controlled willingly. They already thought they were unbeatable. Cavs and Warriors was never a rivalry. It was an exciting series yes, but KD ruined what was supposed to be the rivalry of the 2010s. 2015 and 2016 was an even match up between the two team, until KD showed up and the whole league with the exception of a couple teams just accepted that it wasn't worth it competing against the freakin Avengers
