I have the following question which will help me a lot with my thesis: how do I motivate the use of linear regression, given that the final variables introduced are still categorical of some sort? they are not continuous for sure. You only used Excel to solve for the mean of those data but did not show how to solve for the linear regression. Your title is misleading

What is your hypotheses for how the variables interact? The analysis has no context without understanding that. This is more of an excel tutorital than a data analysis explanation. And why wouldn't you just do =AVERAGE instead of manually adding and dividing?
