COUNTIFS in Excel is one of the more powerful tools you can learn to use. It is just another way to work smarter and not harder. In this video, I’ll show you how to use the two most popular versions of the COUNTIF formula in Excel, along with one really cool bonus tip:
• COUNTIF based on one item/criteria
• COUNTIFS based on multiple criteria ranges and Criteria
• BONUS COUNTIFS using the Less than or Greater than feature in Excel

This is just what I needed! Thanks. Learning about these powerful tools really helps, but it would also help to hear the basics, like when entering the criteria 0, the argument needs to be in "", like ">0". Maybe too basic?

Hello @worksmarternotharder thank you for your excellent video. Maybe you could explain the solution to the following problem. What could I do if I had a cell which has the month number in it for example 2 for February depending what month has been selected at first and now I want to use the countifs to tell me how many contracts are still running after the month 2. I cannot type ">2" because the value keeps changing so it looks more like >$J$1. Do happen do have an idea?

Is there a way to make the count if formula for values greater than zero but less than the value in a different cell? like for scoring. Who got over a zero but under how many points were complete.
