I'm trying to check if a field's value is 0 then I keep that zero. If it's not equal to 0 then it should run the networkdays() formula. However, it's failing all the time. I've changed the format of the field from general, to number, to text but it keeps failing. What could I possibly be doing wrong? Thx.

I'm trying to check the entry from a cell that could have 3 values. if c then value should be cell k2/100, if m then value should be k2/1000, if ea then value should be k2/1. =iF(l2=c, [k2/100], IF(l2=m, [k2/1000], IF(l2=ea, [k2/1]))) what am I doing wrong?

Hello. Please help. Have problems with the formula. This is my project. In Column A I have 4 checkbox. Column B I have 4students. Column C I have current rank with a drop arrow showing this of all the rank in Taekwondo. In column D I have new rank with a drop list of all the rank in Taekwondo. I need help with a formula that when I check the box the new rank show. Ranks are ascending on my list. And last how do I save it for future record. Thank you in advance.

i need help. how do i make it so that "if this box says male, then put 1, however if it says female, put 2 and if its neither put 3" i cant figure it out, i put =IF(AND(C5="male"),"1",if(C5="female"),"2","0")) but it doesn't work ,it just highlights "female" and does an error edit: figured it out and somehow this works even though i don't understand the brackets at all: =IF(AND(C5="male"),"1",IF(C5="female","2",3))

how do you use the If function for multiple reasoning. Like if the value is 1 it will result to 1000, then 2 should result to 2000, but if it is more than 2 it should return as 2000.

Basically I am helping a couple getting divorced. If the income comes from certain sources, then they split the money, if it doesn't then it stays with one person. I every time I put in the formula like this, =if(OR(b2="rent",b2="interest"), b3/2, 0) -- it doesn't work for the second stipulation. I have also tried putting it in with just the OR and excel doesn't let me. Can anyone help?

Hi and thanks for posting the video. Does this only work with words i.e. YES / NO commands or can it be used to write numerical formulas? I'm trying to get a cell to either display £0.00 or work out an amount of money based on whether the value is above or below this amount (see formula below) =IF(AND(B41=$A$40,"B41-$A$40*0.09")) basically if B41 is below A40 then the formula should display £0.00. But if B41 is >= A40 then take B41 and minus A40 and then calculate 9% if anyone can show mw what ive done wrong it would be much appreciated

U cant have many functions in one cell, only nested functions. I guess this could be a solution for u: u use each one of this formula in one column, then u concatenate all the column results in one column (using concatenate function).
