One of my most favorite boards is the Exway X1, love the hub drive, clean looks good performance. I just don't like the lack of wheel options. A direct drive next gen X1 would be pretty cool. Good work! ✌️😊

This product seems to be well-rounded in terms of features and functionality. Just needs some aesthetic updates and polish. In one way this removes the best feature of the revel kit in that it's permanently stuck to one deck and you can’t switch to different decks. Also micro USB? At that price I think the exway short board is a much better option.

At 450-500$ it would've been amazing Value, but priced at 750-800$ its really underperforming, considering this is basically a no name brand and compared to Exway wave for 699$ wave looks , performs and feels more premium for less money.

thanks for the review! been looking for a shortboard with swappable battery for travel however based on your opinion I think the Exway Wave is still the better option! Too bad since this looks really similar to the Milesboard Phantom (which I also have)! Also your voice is so different!!

Would be great to see your review of the lacroix barrel -- hopefully it's a board that's in your interesting bucket! At £1555 I want to know how it compares to boards like the 2wd exway atlas pro. I've heard good things about lacroix but dunno if it applies to their entry board. I have an exway flex (OG) which is awesome, so the atlas pro would be my other go to AT option that's around the same weight

Exway Wave doesn’t have a direct drive option. But technically hub motors are direct drive… 😄

Unlike you i just started esk8, and you doing the rews you think matter is awesome! 👍 There is a lot of boards out there that are almost the same thing... 🤷 I started with the Exway Flex Pro but i'm not gonna stop, carve on a electric longboard is the greatest i've done in the last 40 years, that's saying some becuase i'm 43...!😂 I will never stop and hope you dont either! 🙏💪 Be safe Daniel..! 🙏👊

About that strange Esk8 from the company #UIOFOboards, did anyone actually buy it? Seems to be the closest design-wise to a Revel Boards system; same wheels, direct-drive motors, remote design, plus revised swappable battery. Really eager to know what the ESC and motor connectors look like on this, but sadly can't find parts product listings or reference photos... It's my quest to find alternative replacement parts for older Esk8 models, a constructive hobby!

Its cool to use ai for voice, but still you can notice it and i still prefer daniel as daniel, as you actually cant see him talking and stuff. For me, it feels pretty weird. Still would prefer normal voice.

Can confirm: revels on bigger wheels are kinda ass with range. Also: if these boards are built to the same standard as the revel I got less than a year ago, expect the batteries to start failing in a few months

The voice is okay to listen to. But it sounds like the script was written by AI too. Overall a bit monotone. Amazing tech though. Probably 1-2 years away from perfect voice overs
